Its kind of like laundry. Technically all the laundry is not done unless you are standing in from of the washer naked.

Are you okay if all you wear is a robe and slippers?
Boots (not cowboy) instead of slippers if you are going to Walmart. Gots to keep up appearances. Oh, and put candles or fuses in your beard and hair like Black Beard too!

Excellent point. I’m temporarily caught up. And, as David pointed out, doing the laundry rates the temporarily qualifier, too.

At least while catching up yard work you aren't left with a lack of attire.
However, do think the Robe and boots thing mentioned above works for the yard as well as laundry and trips to Walmart.

Possibly standing there in your slippers cause the rob might need to be washed as well.

Get off my lawn!
|
Back in my single days I often mowed the yard in just my swim trunks and sandals. More than once I was doing laundry, and finished up that before mowing. I would be done with the yard work and all the laundry except my swim trunks. It was not unusual for me to go all day with nothing more than shorts, kinda like the olden days in Hawaii.
I would stand in the back yard and hose myself down to cool off, and clean up enough to go inside and not make a mess. Then I just needed to finish the house work, and get ready for a date to come over.

Yea, a lot of long moments of me doing the laundry, mowing the yard, housework, and cooking my meals. Worst of all was paying the 12.5% interest rate mortgage and utilities all out of my own paycheck. It left me enough to have a few cheap dates. I really can't complain, I enjoyed my bachelorhood. Especially the good ol days before AIDS, herpes, hepatitis and such. Buying a house was one of the smart moves I made.

The clay around here usually fills back in and still has extra left after it has settled a bunch.
They recommended I go over it tomorrow poking holes with the church key to help it settle.

Yea, wait for it to dry up some and do a full on happy dance on the dirt. It will settle in soon.
I am off to go see my dentist for my regular teeth cleaning. Same dentist I have used since 1978. I am one of his first patients. He had only been open a few weeks when I showed up.

Aha So! He will have a great chance to learn some Japanese. It is a place I would like to visit some day.
The coolant overflow tank on my El Camino has a slow leak on the bottom of the tank. Weird place to leak, but it is dribbling. I replaced the OEM one around 15 years ago because it was so stained and ugly. This one is a GM branded one, just decided to leak. So I ordered one from OPGI. $38 bucks. It will take 5 minutes to swap. I ordered it yesterday. Today I got FOUR emails from them. Each one was identical as far as I can tell, and they all said the tank is back-ordered until 03/15/2019. Wait, what? That is 5 days ago. So it is "back-ordered" until 4 days before I ordered it, and it took them four emails to say that. WTF? I figure I will wait a week and check the status. Hopefully they don't say I got it last month and I just don't remember putting it on, and I need to order a new one. It is not a major issue for the slow leak, but I do want it fixed properly. Replacement is the only fix.

slap some of that water proof tape over the leak as a temp fix for now.

It would have to be some bad ass tape. The coolant overflow gets coolant that is HOT. I am sure you have hit it on your fingers before. It is slippery and slimy feeling. So holding in 195 degree antifreeze is gonna be a challenge. It is just a slow dribble that runs down the plastic fender liner to the battery tray. It evaporates before it even drips off the car. I would not let it drip on the ground as it is deadly poison and tastes sweet. If it looks like it will take them a while to ship one I will put some sort of patch on it to slow it down if the leak gets any faster.
