Yea, it was a weird Pelican outage. Fortunately a short one.

Our "slightly" (very) spoiled dogs are real dang happy we are back home after our long weekend away. They are both in the recliner with my wife, the short hair is under a blanket the longhair in on top of the blanket. They are sticking close to her until it gets close to meal time, than suddenly I am the most loved one n the house. Until their bellies are full and other body parts emptied, and then they want back in mom's lap in the recliner. It is a tough life for our dogs.

Woke up to a few inches of ****. I sent it Pete's way for him so he has something to do this week. At least the weekend was nice.

We have a Rogue that has some of the worst seats on the planet so don't look at those Richard. We took it from SWWI to Yellowstone. We bought pillows for everyone after our first stop.

Buy a car/tank you like and put aftermarket seats in it?

I can't wait until we have transporters like Star Trek.

In the Star Trek Deep Space Nine series they had a few episodes based on Earth and the restaurant owned by the Commander's father. They showed the average commuter just walking up to a public free transporter and people just entered their destination with a few tap of the screen and just transported there.

I never understood why they had a restaurant when you could just tell the replicator to give you whatever you needed. And of course no one needed money. They never explained why anyone would do the crappy jobs like clean the bathrooms, but no one ever went to the bathroom anyway.

I think the people still went to a restaurant because the real food was always better than the replica stuff. Plus, real booze instead of fake booze.

They probably had some more advanced Roombas for the bathrooms.

Dang, had a horrible day yesterday.

Accidentally took a Blood Pressure pill yesterday morning.
Been not taking them because my BP has been getting too low. Take BP twice a day.
Felt a little dizzy, checked and bp had dropped to 50/36. Yikes!
Drank some water and moved around and it came up to 72/48.
Started getting all the symptoms of low bp. dizzy, weakness, felt like passing out, nausea, diahrea, etc. Barely made it thru a shower after not quite making the toilet, very tiring.
So out of it called 911.
Said my bp was up to 115/70 and everything looked fine.
Said all my symptoms were just everything waking back up after the low.
They were surprized I hadn't passed out.
Did not cart me off, said to call back if not better by morning.
That was 3pm.
Struggled to make it to the couch and lay down. Woke up at 6am this morning with Pepper curled up on my legs and feel fine.

Only problem this morning is I am really hungery. Maybe I can get uber eats to bring me a good breakfast burrito.

Put those blood pressure pill in a zip lock baggie with a warning to not take them until you have recovered.

When we got back from our trip it was 73 degrees and perfect weather to wash the 911. Right now is it 16 degrees and perfect to stay inside. I never went outside yesterday except to take the trash to the curb. I am about to make a dash to the mailbox to mail some checks. Them dang vendors always want us to keep the cash flow flowing. One of them is actually the tax man. They want their money for the airplane. We pay a yearly registration.

This is when it is nice to have a little bitty Cessna 182 and not a 747. We would have to pay a $22,500 tax bill for the honor of owning a 747 or any aircraft over 100,000 pounds. Of course I am glad we don't have a loan on a 747 or any jet. Since it is easy to put 22 grand in fuel in a big jet I don't think we can afford one.

Morning all. Yes Richard put the pills away some place where they have to be looked for.

Glen admit it a 747 with first class seating would be great......

Yea, a big private jet would be fun, but operating costs are just a tad above our profit level. Maybe we could get some of the military contracts that pay millions.

We are on a list of contractors. One idiot contacts us, to see if what our bid was to fly surveillance in Afghanistan. My partner actually broke out laughing. I suggest we bid it at 20 million a day. We just declined to reply at all. I guess my partner is just a chicken and was not willing to fly a 182 over to Afghanistan, and fly in a back and forth pattern over the battleground and a bunch of bad guys with RPGs. Wait, maybe that is just being smart.

Oh come on what could happen? Think of the exposure you will get! The movie rights alone. I can see it now. "Grumpy old men 4, Get off my sky". Two guys fly patterns over Afghanistan just piss off the locals drinking beer and dodging rpg's.

All we need is a screen writer, and George Cloney to play my part, and Brad Pitt to play my partner's part, and a screen writer, and a producer, and lots of hype, and the Hollywood connections......

Well maybe not, I doubt Emma Watson is available to play the part of my wife.

It would be a better movie than any of the Larry the Cable Guy movies.

Sounds more like a Smokey and the Bandit remake.
