They only offered me $40 each for our 5S phones. And mine is a 128 gig. I will sell it on Ebay or Facebook marketplace.

Apple makes it unbelievably easy to transfer the data from the old phone. You start the phone, and go through a few basic steps of setup, then it asks if you want to transfer data from an old phone. The new phone makes a really neat swirling blob in a circle, like a little planet of blue dots swimming around, and then old phone activates the camera and you point it at the blue blob, and bamm, it starts transferring the data. The only password you need is the password to your iTunes account. Every other setting, and password is transferred. Done. Super easy.

My theory that the more you are wanting a package, the slower it arrives, and a package that is not needed for a month will arrive overnight, is proving true again.

I want my toys um tools, the computer! I ordered a package of the SATA cables that are useless without the computer and the hard drives that go in it. The cables are due (not here yet) today. The computer and the rest was delayed, and now may be Monday instead of today. Dang it.

Yep on wanting things to get shipped quicker.

Cayenne did not get picked up today. Driver called and told her he would be there before noon Sat. Hope that means tomorrow!

Maid told me she would take me for a ride when it gets here.

We were planning to visit the Grand Canyon on the way back to PHX. They received 4' over the last few days and the highways are closed.

Every time Pepper went outside had to towel her down when she came back in. She likes it.

Clear skies again!

Maybe some of my computer parts will arrive toady. The cables were scheduled for end of day yesterday and I guess the day never ended, cause I ain't got it yet.

The main packages changed from Friday to Monday mysteriously. They shipping companies all see a few snow flakes somewhere in the country and slow the delivery times way up.

My Otter Box for my new iPhone 11 Pro did show up yesterday. My wife got the 11 amateur, or non pro version. If it isn't a pro, it must be an amateur right? Anyway the Amazon truck can be tracked as our package was arriving. An Amazon delivery vehicle pulled up outside, on the other side of the street, and sat there. Out truck showed it was one stop away. If showed up and they off loaded packages from one truck to the other. It was 30 minutes before she (the driver) brought my Otter box up to the house. My wife's packages was not there. So we got ready to go eat Friday night dinner, and as I pulled out of the garage the chick had a package. My wife just got out and fetched it from her. Then we went to eat.

My phone now has the tempered glass screen protector, and a Otter Box that protects it from drops. My old phone is a 6S and after taking it out of the protection it looks almost new. It will go on Ebay soon. I have to unlock them first.

My phone is similarly protected, Glen. I’ve dropped it a few times, and it’s still intact.

Actually the forecast is all we get is wind. We are supposed to have dry weather for a week or so, with just a slight chance of rain later in the week.

I may have to go outside and wash the El Camino this afternoon. With no rain in the forecast for a while I could use a bath after the trip to Enid in the rain.

The same nephew that came to eat with us at Thanksgiving is typical for college students. Only a naked phone is good enough to show and use. He had a iPhone 7 or 8 and dropped it hard enough to break it. He borrowed my old iPhone 5 for a while since he could not afford a new phone then. He finally saved his money and bought the iPhone X and drove over that with a brush hog and lost it in a three acre field. He replaced that with a used pink iPhone 7 that he has now. He slobbered on my 11 Pro.

I did mention to him I have never lost of broken a phone in my life. Of course keeping it in an Otter Box on my hip is totally uncool and dorky. Guess what, I don't care one tiny bit what others think of my phone on my hip.

Keep my phone in my shirt pocket. Have only had one incident. It fell out of my pocket into a puddle of water. Let it dry out, and it were fine. Didn't even have a bag of rice to put it in.

The new iPhone 11 is supposed to be water resistant under water for a few hours. I am not gonna test that.

At 4PM the Cayenne was loaded on the car hauler.

Was supposed to be picked up noon yesterday.

Now guess we get to see how long it takes to haul it 1300 miles.

Great! Where’s it being shipped from, Richard? Hopefully no weather issues between now and when it arrives!

We’re more than 50% above our annual average rainfall, with one month left to go. It’s been kind of soggy this year.

Sorry Sid, today Kansas really sucks, and Texas really blows. It is a bit breezy.

Well, two boxes of my computer system arrived. I now have a cpu, and a case. Nothing else.
