He said it was like a rooster on steroids as to how loud it was. I am sure at some zoo you visited you have heard a peacock call. Roosters are bad, this thing was off the scale and roosted in the tree outside their bedroom window, making racket and crapping everywhere. It had to go.

He always guessed someone just dumped it "out in the country" and he was the lucky recipient.

Golly packing is fun!

I have one large suitcase for the clothes and long term stuff I need. Then one back pack full of the stuff I will haul into the motel room for the night on the road motel. And my "electronics" bag full of the stuff like my laptop, and charging cables for the laptop, the cell phone, and cables for the GPS if I want to set up trips from the comfort of my room, and not sit in the car.

Then the multiple bags for the car wash, tools, extra oil, and a funnel, paper towels, and so on. Lots of little things to remember to bring along.

The 911 is not a self driving car, it needs me to go along to operate it and buy the gas!

Set up a traditional box trap in the rear stoop. Will see if they catch it today.

Good luck.

What do you do with it if you catch it?

I am up early , the car is packed, I am finishing breakfast, and about to meet up with the group at 7:00 AM and we head west towards Amarillo for the boring part of the trip down I-40.

I arrived yesterday at 6:00. It was 40 degree air blowing on me at full force from the vents. It was 107 when I opened the door.

My room is a 8 minute walk from the main complex. Kinda toasty.

I got out of bed just after sunrise and cleaned most of the bugs off my car. I left the lower valance covered in bugs and I will not clean it until I get home.

The top of the car is not bad now.

Welp, the rear view mirrors trot fell off the windshield. When I went to the car on Sunday, it was laying there.
I went to town to get mirror glue and a scraper. I got back and discovered the mount button is held in place with a Torx screw. So yesterday after the concours I went to get a Torx set.

This morning again, up at dawn and the button is glued on. I am supposed to wait 30 minutes before hanging the mirror. Let’s hope it holds.

Off on the Big Bear lake tour.

Morning all. Well if that is all that goes wrong then all is well. A friend from Seattle got second place in his class for his car at the great judging event.

Wolfe?

The mirror has held in place for today's drive. Hopefully it will still be attached in the morning.

Fun drive to Big Bear Lake for a boat ride. It was 66 degrees up there. Very nice.

On the drive back, it just got hotter and hotter. Only 94 now.

The AC is still keeping me cold.

Yea, nice guy. He was drenched in sweat.

It was nice sitting on the balcony - porch and eating lunch.

Oklahoma does not look like that.
