Yea, especially with the weather apps for free! It cost nothing to be weather aware. And it could save your life.

Well the Reuben early alert biological warning system has worked again. He was alerting to a critter under the storage building. I killed one mouse with a trap yesterday. So far no more dead mice, and he is not circling the building anymore. Maybe once again, just one mouse and done. Last time he got it on his own, and I trapped zero mice. I will leave the traps set for a week or so and consider it safe to assume Mr. mouse is gone.

Nice. My great aunt and uncle retired, and dedicated their retirement to seeing North America. They went through multiple variations of motor homes and trucks and trailers. In the end they said a nice travel trailer and a good third wheel pickup was the best combo. Just unhook the pickup, and drive it to the grocery store and avoid driving the house to the grocery store.

And if the tow vehicle gets to high mileage and is not reliable, swap it for new one, and the trailer is fine.

They actually went as far south as the Panama Canal, and up to Barrow Alaska.

The biological early warning system has completly stood down from his alerts of the storage building. The trap I had set was empty again, but the .60 inches of rain had enough water flow to trip it. I just removed it. I will leave the traps at the garage door as they are out of the way, and mice are forbidden in my garage.

I kinda need to mow as the grass has taken off with the warm weather and rain. The yard is way to wet to mow now.

Sunny and 67 today. Rain 5 of the next 7 days. I blame the PNW!

We had more rain last night, and I am hoping it will dry up enough for me to mow today.

Yesterday morning I went to the mailbox to mail an item, and it misting and the humidity was 98%.

I had to wait until 2:30 to get a chance to mow. It was way too wet to edge. I left some ruts in the soft ground, but the yard is mowed. We are supposed to have a wet weekend, and a really stormy Monday. They are giving us a three day warning that Monday is a day to watch the weather. We will be ready.

Oh no! I just got an email from "The Department of the Government of the United States" informing me that my social security number is suspended. They provided a nice handy link to click on to fix it.

The weird this is they are using a Gmail account! I better give them my personal information ASAP.

Maybe on February 31st.

They have been telling us for three days that today is a thunderstorm and tornado watch for Monday, today. We have things ready, and watching the RADAR and staying weather alert.

There will be thunderstorms, hail and likely a couple of tornadoes somewhere between Dallas and Wichita. Oklahoma had 27 tornadoes on Saturday a week ago. One of them would have been a F4 if it hit any populated area, but it was just prairie so rated a F0 as the only damage was to a few trees.

We ended up with just a quarter inch of rain. No lumps in the rain, no bad winds.

There were many tornadoes in tornado alley last night.
