Mornin guys.

Sid, at least you will not be just ringing up prescriptions.

My favorite store ever was in Hawaii in the city of Waipahu. It was called Are-wa-kaw-as. That is not how they spelled it I am sure but that is how it was pronounced. This was long before the mega stores like Wal Mart or Target. You could go in there and buy fireworks, lumber, fine china, garden supplies, electronics, guns, and candy. Anything you needed, they had had it in a giant cluttered store. It was a great place. It sounds like Clinton Oklahoma has a smaller version.

So you don't even have to pack a lunch! Are they gonna have ya making sandwiches as well?

It sounds like an interesting place. You can pick up a pet, a portable radio, pork sandwich, Pepsi, and a prescription. Very handy.

The more you can do the more indispensable you are. Learn every job there. You never know when that knowledge will be handy.

One of the guys I used to work with, worked at worked at a family owned sandwich shop while he was in school. He got to eat all the sandwiches that were made wrong. Fortunately he was not picky about food. He admitted to making a few sandwiches wrong so he could eat them. He figured he got to eat thousands of free sandwiches.

I worked at a restaurant while in college. Besides the going hourly rate we got $.50 per hour worked in food coupons. Owner said it was to mainly so he could keep track of grazing.

Being a creative type I made stuff for myself that wasn't on the menu. A pizza combination, a sandwich, and nachos I made became so popular they were added to the menu. As far as I know my nachos with meat on them predated other places selling meat nachos by a year. I still occasionally buy the frozen pork topping stuff from a local pizza joint so I can make them, and to put it in eggs and spaghetti sauce.

One time John Luc Crustoe came to the university to give a talk about sharks. He ate at the restaurant I was working at. For fun I made a shark out of pizza dough and cooked it so it was like this loaf of french bread shaped like a shark. When I gave it to him one of his entourage asked what sex it was. He turned it over and found I had put boobies on it. He laughed and claimed it was obviously female, and a rare genus of nurse shark. He took it with him and said he was going to put it on his desk.

I just got back from the metal recyclers. I collect my aluminum cans and crunch them down in a trash compactor that was left behind in the garage. Four bags of cans was 24 pounds, at 50 cents per pound I collected 12 bucks. I had to go about one mile west of downtown OKC. The return trip took me by the national headquarters of Sonic. I ate lunch for 6 bucks. Profit!

Take a pickup load of highway signs next time. They take you in the backroom to count that money out.

Embracer, Sid's dad can make you a sign that is 100% legal and will fit the space where you want to fit it. The shipping cost may be kinda high.

Good thing there isn't a lake nearby or you would also be selling bait and tackle
