Good one! need to write this down.

Dilemma solved, she has to work.
Next appointment, with another girl, Thursday, my place...
But this one is different though, she is a religious girl, and more a friend than a potential victim
Pizza and a movie. I've spent my evenings worse than that...

As long as it is not a Chick Flick, Pizza & a movie with a friend can be nice.

I was going to say something like no foreign movies but that would be all the American movies for you. I watched a funny movie the other day. “The Invention of Lying” is very funny.

I know of some pretty good foreign movies, Belgian movies even....

I'm going to give my valve covers a second coat of heat resistant flat black paint.
When they're dry, I'll put them in my oven at 160°C to cure the paint and make it durable....
I live alone, I can use my oven for whatever I want

I remember way back when I was a kid hot rodders would bake their parts in STP.

Lindsay Racing uses and old oven to heat wheels to put the centers in the barrels.

I've also heard of a lot of guys using ovens to bake their own powder coating.

Morning Dudes.

just woke up. today is DIY day. Need to change all the doors in my appartment, 8 of them...
Then have them painted. Then change all the windows. Then look for new tenants... Ugh, being a landlord sucks, sometimes.

I agree. That is why most folks put it in Coke.

I don't think I have had any alcohol except BEER in over 10 years. Well maybe a few glasses of wine & champagne at special events.

G-man landlord duty sucks. Been there done that, and I don't wanna do it again.

When I got married and moved out of my house I rented it to a single lady that I thought was neat and tidy. Right off the bat I had to install 220 in the garage for her electric dryer. Then the inevitable fixes that every property needs. When I had enough landlord fun and decided to sell the house she put up with the realtor showing the house for a while. She found a new place to live so I went to get it ready to sell. Her dog had peed on the carpet all over the house. Then I noticed the fleas biting me. I had to nuke the house with bug killer, and told the real estate agent that I would pay to have whatever color carpet the owners wanted. That was what made a family want the house; they could pick the color of carpet. They picked RED carpet. Later I found out they were Chinese. They liked the Chinese restaurant decor I guess.

I am glad to be out of that racket.

Good luck and have fun today.

My favorite part of my house deal was they really wanted my refrigerator for some reason. It was just a $150 used fridge. There is a small crack in one of the windows but there was a storm window in front of it. In the 20 years I lived there it never leaked. They said either fix the crack or we want the fridge. I jumped on that deal. Little did they realize it was an OLD refrigerator. I drove by the house a few weeks later to see the place and the fridge was on the front porch with the door taken off.

Good mornin dudes.

Welp, I got our old absurdly heavy 40 inch tube-TV out of the house. That sucker is just crazy heavy. It is just under 300 lbs or 136 Kilos!

The new 60 inch flat panel is NICE! We have a pretty big living room and the entertainment center and the TV cover an entire wall. I can’t wait to see the next F-1 race in HD with the surround sound cranked up. One of the many reasons I love my wife is she loves F-1 and she is a big football fan.

The main reason for spending the money on the new set and all the HD cable stuff is to watch F-1 & the upcoming football season in HD. Our package has over 100 HD channels, 60 of which I will never ever watch. Discovery, Science, Nat Geo, History, Sy-Fi, Comedy, BBC America, Speed, and a few others are all I will ever watch.
