If you divide the United states with an imaginary line from East to West, cut it right in half horizontally. (Alaska should be more in the North of course)
Would the state on your coin be (for the largest part) in the Northern part?

True but I could also ask to draw an imaginary line over the border of KS and MO (Kansas, Montana???), OK and AR (Oklahoma and Arkansas??) and TX and LA (Texas and ???)
And then ask if your state is to the left of that line... But as I am not as familiar with the location of the states, I used a map.... You're just cranky because I found a clever way to find the anwser....  Since I know it is to the left of the slanted line and since I have 17 questions left... is it CA? is it NV? is it UT? is it CO? is it AZ? is it NM? is it TX? is it OK? is it KS? is it HI? DING DING DING DING DING DING DING !!! WE HAVE A WINNER!! I have 7 questions left... (if the answer is Hawai)

The chapter USA in our schoolbooks is very short... They're loud. They love guns. They invented McDonalds That was it. So far, our books are still up to date....
