MS Works sucks for trying to get the data into any other format or program pc or mac, don't matter.
I started my computer usage with an IBM terminal via modem in 1976. No screen, just paper. In 1978 I got an Apple II because that was all there was period AND you had to assemble the thing and programs were loaded and saved to a cassette tape. In 1985 I was working to write a WSIWYG typesetting program for my Apple II and realized the new Mac computer did this out of the box. I've used Macs ever since. I do graphic arts and still find Mac superior for WYSIWYG in Graphic Arts despite the fact the same programs are available for both Mac and PC. It is interesting to me that the main driver for PC sales (at least in business) is Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office's key components, Word and Excel were first written by contract of APPLE for the FIRST MAC. It was called Word, and Multiplan. There was also a program called File, but Microsoft did not develop it, instead they bought FoxBase (a Mac program) and sold it as Access. Windows itself was a copy of the Mac's interface and was not well received until version 3.1.

Yea, and Mac copied the Zerox GUI interface. I think it was called GEM. Maybe it was some other OS, it has been too many years.

Whoops, it was the ALTO interface from Zerox PARC.

Nice thing about being in a class that you are doing ropes course.... Occasionally the really cute girls need help getting a harness on or fitted properly..... I of course take one for the team and promptly help them...
