I might. Is that a problem? Should I be looking into getting help?

I used to log in from my phone at work when the internet would crash, but then again we all know I am a few bricks shy of a full cube

I use TapTalk with my phone to check the thread. For whatever reason it always puts Stijn!! in the title of the reply. It makes it easy to tell when I used the phone to reply.

I still think it would be perfect to get Wayne to rename the thread to something like "The thread formally know as Stijn!!"

Meh, I wouldn't have worried about it if I hadn't been with a different group, and they made me. The group I go with has their crap together and won't drop you... I saw a girl get dropped a few feet and she came really close to bashing her helmet....

I am careful about who I let belay me for that exact reason...

Yes I have snow skied. A few times anyway. Red River, Crested Butte, Vail, Taos, and Steamboat. Red River was my first ski experience. 6 girls and 2 guys in one condo was legendary. In a lift line some guy asked me if I'd heard of the two guys that were staying in a condo full of chicks. We were there for a couple of weeks and even rented X-country skis and did a tour of the area on them. I wish I could find that polaroid of me in bed with all six girls wearing nothing and I was only wearing the moose head off the wall of the condo to protect my identity. College was crazy, sure glad I didn't have to worry about anything that couldn't be killed with a round of penicillin.

The skiing at Red River would have sucked but it was my first time skiing and it was a good place to learn. Crested Butte was the best for skiing the bumps. Vail was all round killer with all types of skiing, fast, bumps, steep, powder and the best apres partying, the Vail bus driver knew where all the great parties were. Taos sucked. Steamboat was powder heaven. Every day the week I was there it snowed fresh powder from 4pm to 7pm then it was frozen dry, fluffy, and perfect for skiing the next morning.

All my skiing was before the snow board.

The most impressed I've been is my nephew's father in law. My nephew showed me some video of himself, and wife's siblings doing all kinds of stunts which was pretty cool, then you realized her Dad, then 45 was videoing all this stuff on the same black diamond slopes at speed going backwards on a snow board.

I have strapped sticks on my feet and gone down the mountain a several times. The last time was at Wolf Creek. The snow was coming down hard and heavy. We had over 10 inches fall overnight and another 14 inches during the day while we were on the slopes. The pass was closed coming from the west so it was like a private ski resort, no crowds.

The powder was so heavy that we had to use poles to go down the hill. It was knee deep in the shallow spots. The snow base was over 10 feet. They had tunnels dug to get down into the buildings. I had a heck of a time digging the car out just to get back down the mountain. Fortunately were were right behind the plow.

Have I mentioned that I really dislike snow?
