Looks like I get to replace the front axles in the 'yota.. Seems the CV joints have given up the ghost. Yay! Not. They have to last until Fall, I really don't want to do this during Summer.

Not a bad idea. It's really no fun doing these things on my own. I had the car up in my parents driveway for a couple hours today. Finally rotated the stupid tires. Sure is boring though. I end up talking to myself and swearing a lot.

Haha! He's still gone. Not sure what's going on. His sister has been over cleaning, along with a crew. This guy lived off Domino's. The trash can was full of boxes the other day. Also seems the sister decided to fill another neighbors trash with pizza boxes too. He's not happy about that.

Sure makes it easier for the manufacturer to pack a universal spare, instead of this inflatable space saver crap. A flat in the 911 is a semi-big deal. In my or my wife's DDs, not so much.

I don't really have a functioning spare for the 911. I carry plugs and a compressor. Only had issue once, but was able to limp it less than a mile to a gas station for air, then hit up a couple more before getting home. Worst case, I have AAA (now with + ).

Mike, I destroy all types of tires. I usually have to replace the Toyota tires in 4's.. I have been known to flat spot all four severely. Hoosiers and staggered widths on the 911 don't help either.
