He will get to see a bunch of chickens in the keys. It is funny to see city boys facinated by chickens. When we were on Kauai the city folks were taking more pictures of chickens than the Waimea Canyon.

G and I got the anal probe at security. First time for me with the body scanner. Note to self... Next time paper and chapstick come out of the pockets as well.

Yeah, lucky. Why is it they seem to have these body scanners at smaller airports? I have yet to see one at LAX.

OK, I can understand a chapstick might get a second look, but paper? How much paper?

Carrying boarding passes in an airport is a highly suspect activity. You might be trying to actually get on an airplane.

You may as well run around the airport touching other people's bags.

Too slow. You will never see them at the higher volume airports....

I really hope I don't miss my connecting flight. Leaves in less than .5 hours and I'm stuck on a transfer bus.

When we flew back from Portland OR to Dallas there was no food served. There was a weather delay so we landed over an hour late. At DFW the every restaurant was closing up. I walked about 1/2 mile and found a guy with some crappy cold turkey sandwiches. He was about to turn off the lights but he stayed open long enough to sell me the last two sandwiches. I paid 12 bucks apiece for a day old crappy sandwiches. Our flight out to OKC was another late because of the same weather delay. We did not get home until 2:30 AM. The other folks in our waiting area were eyeing our sandwiches. It amazed me that a huge airport like DFW did not have any open restaurants.
