I got extremely lucky with my house. My asking price was steep. $900k. There were a couple of bids for around $700k and I was getting desperate. Then all of a sudden a family from Stockholm turnes up, eager to get the house and the final price was $825k.

The house I want to buy is a foreclosure and I am 50k short of the cash price and can't do a contract contingent of the sale of mine so I am looking for a fast sale. No catch just pressed for time

I understand. Nervous situation. Risk of losing the house to another buyer. I am in a similar situation with the house I about to buy now (my parents house). Short of cash. Thanks partly to Greece, the banks nowadays demands a minimum of 15% cash to get a loan.

It is a bit tricky but I grew up in that house and I have wanted since I was 12 years old. Its a perfect location, close to the beach, relatively large garden with a lot of space to plant all my beloved trees. Not cramped with neighbors and right on the edge of a large park. Oh and its got a two car heated garage!
