great. now my garage door opener and mechanism is broken.
the spring lifter got loose on one end, causing the wide door to jam, bending the hinge where the motor pushes/pulls the door..
it's closed shut now, but i think i can forget about driving in/out with the push of a button..

it's not the springs, it's the cables that came off.
but that caused the whole door to bind, and bend the attachment of the motor.
I'll see if i can get it fixed tomorrow.. maybe new cables are in order..

Okay I know I live in the south and have to put up with the jokes but it seems that I like to give fuel to people. If you use a sawsalll to clean up some minor undergrowth does that really make me a redneck?

I'm not sure what to say Rick. My mom uses a sawzall to trim trees.

They sell pruning blades for sawzalls Rick, I have two hanging from a nail in my basement. :-)

Hardly a redneck move. Hell, I used to chain my Jeep to stumps for more efficient removal. Got to where I was just chaining up the whole honeysuckle bush and yanking it out, then cutting it up. Let er rip.

What Pete says... My dad bought some pruning blades for his sawzall. Ash trees can grow some big ass roots at the ground surface and they can move walls.

Awe hell if you got a 4X4 you have to yank at least one stump or bush put with it.

I miss my Jeep sometimes.

You know, cutting roots was the main reason I started using the sawzall instead of the chainsaw. Dirt and soft wood kills chains.

Howdy guys.

I picked up the engine stand and hoist I will use for the El Camino engine swap. I even borrowed the trailer to haul it all.

I have not backed up with a trailer in years. It was fun backing the trailer into the garage space at work.
