Lesson from Ari Gold....

I'm gonna guess that box refers to Amber leaning both ways, not that it makes any sense to me, but then lots of popular culture makes little to no sense to me.

I was writing my post when you posted that. It does not really help much other than it must have something to do with snu-snu.

OK, that is somewhat what I was thinking. And it makes some sense.

I am not really concerned about fitting in to popular culture so all that slang can go on with out me.

Specialized (the bike company) had a little presentation tonight from 5-7. They have some Co-op full time and also full jobs open. They had a Cal Poly grad ('09) who is designing mountainbike frames. Sounds like I can do all the stuff required. And you ride A LOT. The designers and engineers have to not only design and analyze in the lab, they also ride for like half-days in the field testing and recording impressions. They have a very un-structured work environment. They don't have too many walls, dogs come to work, and at lunch everyone goes for a ride.

I really think I would fit in at least with the riding part but I am not ready for full time yet. Summer yes, and after June 2013. But not now. So I don't think I will get any positions. I talked to the engineer guy and gave them my resume though.

They are in Morgan Hill, CA, which I believe is where Dinan is.

I was hoping there would be some girls there, and there were a few. Only a few. Like three. Out of 75 or so people there. Ah, the demographics of Mechanical Engineering.

I agree, but I just don't think I fit their "operational readiness" status. I got too much time left in school. Hopefully I can get something for the summer.

But bikes are just my hobby. Cars have more stuff to play with. Suspensions are not just planar, and I have a few things I want to try out for my senior project.

Work a summer intership with Specialized into an after-graduation job with Dinan--you know, from stopping by to visit the shop while out on those lunch-break rides. Then go sportycar racing with ALMS or GrandAm.

Don't underestimate the value of that job environment you described at Specialized. It beats the crap out of the traditional 9-5 office grind, or most blue-collar union-type jobs.

Oh, I definately like that work environment. Just I am not thinking I will stand out from all the other candidates who are ready to graduate in a few months.

If ya keep thinking that way, you won't stand out.

LSD works too, but it will mess you up if you can't deal with the extremeties of a decent trip..
and it's to potent in nanograms to dose out in mild trips, not unless you cook it yourself, which i doubt anybody here does.
LSD requires commitment to tripping ask me how i know
