The lighter is still kicking a55. I've probably lit 20 cigars so far and it toasts perfectly and always supplies a very quick, but even light for such a small flame.
I think Lotus is making a wise move by diversifying their brand. They've released the 'Vertigo' line in a more reasonable price range with some very basic, but reliable and functional lighters, maintained the Lotus line with which everyone is familiar and added the 'Black Label' brand of higher end lighters. Build quality is indeed higher than that of the 'Lotus' branded lighter I have and rumor has it that 'Black Label' is built in the same factory as Porsche Design lighters. |
