Sounds like you should be pissed at the shop not the insurance company.

Nope... Nothing of that nature.... I brought up the big L word... didn't drop it but came close. When she replied and poured her heart out, I had fallen asleep. Woke up about an hour later and continued to explain myself... I really should have just shut up, but the still tipsy me thought I could make it better then....

Basically I'm an idiot....

I am pissed at the shop, but im also pissed about how poorly geico has handled this and how poorly their 'certified express repair center' has performed. They've been on the other side or the incompetence border for a few thousand dollars now...

I wanna be able to say this one day
"Woke up this morning in a random bed clutching an airplane ticket. God I hope I'm still in the country."

The few times I've taken a vehicle to a body shop, there was only twice I didn't have to take it back for some reason and that was years ago when people took pride in their work.

Body shop guy I know closed up his shop because the car owners were always pissed off and wanted him to do more than he was getting paid for, and the insurance companies were always trying to pay the least possible.

This shop just sucks. It took me telling them 3 times and finally dragging the shop manager out to see that the rear seatbelts needed to be replaced as well ....

When I got my first colonoscopy...

The doctor explained that they would fill my colon with gas and make a digital movie of it. First I asked if there was a spark would I explode. Cracked the doc up. Then I asked if I could get a copy of the movie so I could prove I wasn't full of it. He said no because the file was too big. But, he did give me a picture.

When I was waking up in the recovery room the anesthesiologist ask if I remembered her waking me up and the doctor showing me pictures during the procedure. I said no. She then told me that I had said I was cognizant. Told her using the word cognizant should have been her first clue that I was not conscious.
