That's any Mercedes of the era...if it's still going strong by now, it should be ok.

Good afternoon guys.

I guess some truck driver that has a name something like Pete must have come through Oklahoma. We are supposed to have the frozen form of water. Look out Rick. I bet it comes to you next.

Hi guys. I am back. Went to watch some POC racing this Saturday, then on Sunday put the new meats on the rear of the 911.

Oh yeah. I forgot the other thing I did this weekend. I was inspired by Hannah (back in the begining of the thread) and cut most of my hair off. I have always had it long, now it is short, buzzed. I left the top a little bit longer, like maybe an inch instead of .5 inch.

Well, I was tired of my lame long hair. No curls or anything. I wanted it to be more the same legnth, and shorter all over, so I will let it grow out some. Not too much though.

The world will end when Magnus gets a haircut. Saw him today on the Snake.

Short hair is so much easier to deal with. No getting in my eyes, it never gets messed up by wind. Drys out after washing without even needing a towel.

You didn't hear the collective cries of all the college girls on campus, the day he cut his hair off?

No, just their laughing. I f'ed it up pretty good (attempting to cut it myself while having no mirror and only scissors). Otherwise I would have left it more like 1.5-2 inches all over.

Yes, but I am cheap, I did not have a good enough idea of what I wanted to be able to tell someone, and it was Thursday night. I had been doing homework and preparing to go home on the weekend, then Friday I had class. So I did not really have the opportunity and I just decided to go for it. I had done it once before (but kept it long) and did not do too bad. It is still not that bad. Just has a couple little steps/lines in the back. I was prepared for the embarassment and was pleasanly surprised that most people were too nice to laugh.

The good thing it it grows back!

And it was cold and windy at Willow so I wore a stocking cap and a jacket (but still in my shorts) and then it was dark by the time I talked to Regan so I don't have any feedback from the POC. And on my bike I wear a helmet so Paul the photog hasn't captured the horror for eternity on digital film.

BTW, it was dark at the end of the racing because nearly the entire track, from halfway between turn 2 and 3 all the way to the pits got oiled down. Some guy in a 993 got loose coming out of 2, did a tank slapper and lost it at high speed into the dirt and somehow a GT3 got caught up in it and dropped coolant and oil. The thing that made it worse was they towed him back to the pits and did not realize he was leaking.

It sure made for some interesting racing during the last laps of the Red Race in turn 3! Lots of people spinning, everyone getting loose. I was afraid there would be a pile-up as there were cars pointing the wrong way and others having to stop completely to avoid them.
