Im calm, im just at the end of my patience. No yelling planned honestly, just going to lay down the law and probably go above my adjusters, bosses head to someone with real authority. They're pissing money away and not fixing the car and their inefficiency has cost me a significant amount of time and money. It ends tomorrow. They pressured me inti using their shop and that decision has been a fail of epic proportions. I know the differential is damaged and a ticking time bomb, it sounds like a turbine over 30mph.....they wont listen to me just like with everything else that they've run into in this process.

trust me. he is in 7th heaven. if you look really close, there is drool coming out of his mouth on the third photo. he goes into these trance-like cuddle-modes wherein i can mess with him and he just lies there. its pretty funny actually.

and check out his ears. the dumbarse is constantly fighting. i thought he was going to lose his left ear, recently.

Cats are odd creatures....

Vas.....as far as buying, I refuse to do anything until the issue at hand is resolved in some manner. One step at a time...I just can't believe how long they've made this step take..

It's been my experience that with most body shops if you strike up some kind of friendly rapport with the shop dudes, and only infer that you expect them to do the best job possible and in a timely manner by NOT mentioning that you expect anything, then they will go out of their way to make you a happy customer.

And when they call with some unbeknownst complication (they always have unplanned, unbeknownst complications) be surprised and understanding, and let them know you are glad they caught the problem and to let you know when it's done.

Be happy to hear from them, and for God's sake, don't call, visit, or bug them as that shows you don't trust them or their work so they will do the poor job you expect.

5 weeks. Im done being patient. I've got the # for the regional supervisor. If things don't go well right off the bat with the adjuster tomorrow, I'm calling the regional supervisor. No one has inspected or serviced the differential as of yet. I refuse to occupy that vehicle until that's done as I know there is internal damage...at the least it is drained of oil from running with the cv improperly sealed.....actually, it wouldn't surprise me to find out the original mechanic didn't even replace the diff to cv gaskets...

I don't trust them, they've missed very obvious problems every step of the way and second guessed me when I pointed them out only to realize I was right a few days later....

so, i had an interview for a teaching job today. this is the school that i do clinical precepting for. the head of the program was doing the interview. he told me point blank that he wants me for the job. i don't think i can afford the move.

THEN he also asked me if my current boss 'has it in for me'. i was like, 'huh?' he said, 'well, your boss told me that the school wasn't getting its money's worth with you because you are watching television while you are supposed to be precepting.' (!!!) i think my jaw hit the floor. i couldn't believe it. after thinking about it for a minute i said, 'well, i wonder which television that was.' the only televisions are in the patient rooms. there isn't one anywhere else on the floor, nor is there one in the hospital cafeteria. things are out of hand at work. i also found out recently that a complaint i made was taken straight to the other party involved and presented as, 'D has a problem with you.' the problem i had was that some very unsafe things were happening. anyway, rant over. i've just been thinking about it all day and i cannot think of a single positive thing that would come from confronting my boss about these things.....
