Good morning guys. My only electrical shock story was my own dumb action. I had a Doberman that would climb the fence to escape just to sit on my front porch. I had to install an electric fence but the local farm supply store only had one for horses. It was cheap so used it. It worked on the dog and no more escapes. One day as I was edging the yard I brushed my jeans against the wire. I felt a slight tingle but I was sure I had unplugged the system. So to check I grabbed hold of the steel chain link fence and them wrapped my hand around the electric wire. Yep it was plugged in! I swear my dog laughed. After that I would unplug it and check several times.

I just had an interesting phone call. It seems our friend Stijn tried to put out a contract on me. Long distance tranq shooting. Only one problem, he tried to get my daughter to do the shooting. Bwahahahahahahaha nice one old man.

I used to work in an alum. smelter. The power involved there was enough to create a large field of electro magnetism. Credit cards would be wiped, watches would slow or stop. I once saw a crows foot on a 100psi plant air line break it made about an half arc before changing direction and sticking to the side of a pot. You never wanted to walk between pots and touch anything as positive and negative would get bridged and you were the bridge.

There are places here where only the bugs and coyotes will find a person. I happen to know of several of them.

Walked through the transformer and relay room that was part of a iron foundry induction furnace. Every hair on my body was standing on end. Wanted OUT OF THERE!

My scariest place was a sub station that was just one leg of a three phase electrical supply to a ammonia plant. My FIL worked for the power company and a fuse blew. I went along to watch. He told me not to touch anything. I told him that was the most un-needed advice since I was told to not touch the rattle snake.

Well the car must be running by the end of today. After today I will only work on it on parts of Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. After next weekend I am done working on the car since competition is so close and the rest of the stuff to do is all testing, tuning, and electronic setup for traction control, torque vectoring and regenerative braking, which I don't know how to do. So I will be able to focus on school and design my parts for next year's car in my spare time while still going to the races that I had planned to with my Dad.

Boys are weird. But then when they start talking formulas, amps, volts, etc and getting all nerdy... Hot. What can I say? I like the nerds. Worked to my advantage when I was the only girl in my AP Physics class.

I like scientists. They question everything. Make good conversationalists.

Your a busy guy Max.

Okay Vas would be proud of me. While cutting the grass I winged the top of a box turtle, removing a section of his shell. I got the turtle, cleaned the wound and fashioned a cover out of plastic to cover the wound and superglued it over the opening. Then I used some two part epoxy to seal up the edges of the repair and turned him loose at the edge of the woods.

Well it was a self serving gesture. Now he can go and tell the other turtles not to get in the way of my tractor. Next I am going to work on the snakes.
