I saw some show on VH1 or something interviewing the guy who came up with the groovy color special effects in the background. It is a simple overhead projector with a tray of water and oil and dye that he would set a glass plate on and move it around.

Far out, man!

Sonofa....I've got a date this weekend I think.....
Stopped to help a car with it's flashers on on the side of the road. Half of the undertray had fallen, the screw was long gone.......she was a mess, but had gotten the car pulled over fast when it happened so no real damage.....pulled a bolt from another part of the tray and secured the hanging bit.....she tried to give me money......obviously didn't accept......so she gave ne her number and asked if I'd show her how to get it 100% this weekend, she was in a rush....had to teach an aerobics class......them she suggested that she could buy me a drink after we got her car fixed....

Nope brunette. I was impressed that she stopped so fast, there was almost no damage to the tray. She was shocked that someone stopped......welcome to the south.

Oh HHI, just admit it. Nothing would beat a night with the Tweez and some chocolate dipped peeps.

Go for it! And keep us in the loop of your little roadway romance.

Anytime tweeze, I'll. Bring the peeps.....you bring......you!

Im still appalled that no one else had stopped and that she was shocked I had stopped. Just how I was raised I guess. And, no, I couldn't see her until after I stopped

Heck, I'll. Up the ante to a couple of the best US market cigar made, no longer available anywhere, and a jug of stone Russian imperial stout belgo-anise.

Or a couple bottles of atone 11-11-11 vertical epic ale, though they obviously haven't reached peak maturation....

Here's my tale, um, of not helping a stranded motorist.

Couple weeks ago I was crossing the street in front of my office around 6 pm. I heard a distinctive flop-flop-flop. Some Mercedes E-class had a completely flat right front, with the blonde driver obliviously forging along at 30 mph. Before I could even get to the curb at the side of the road to flag her down, away she went. That's not going to end well, I thought.

So I crossed the street, got my car out of the parking garage, and started home. About 0.8 miles down the road, I saw a tire carcass in the #3 lane (closest to the curb). And 10 feet further was her car, stopped with its flashers on, rim on pavement. She was already on the phone. Or maybe she never got off. So I figured that was now her hubby's problem, and just shook my head as I navigated around her.

And that's why I got AAA. I am not blonde so I am not counting on a nice man to help me...
