11 for 11 with the questions I went over tonight for weights and balance. Total questions for the chapter, 19. I'll finish the remaining when I get up tomorrow. I do feel better tonight. I still have to revisit predicting performance, but I think I will have that down as well.

went and looked at a Series 1 Esprit after work today..drove down by March AFB. Cosmetically the car was super strong. I love the look of the series 1 cars. no spoilers, no ground effects, etc. Giugiaro's design is amazing. looks incredible in person. much lower and wider then pictures make them seem.
the car ran like crap. he had over $14,000 in receipts from a Lotus place down by Cerritos. but....the owner thought he'd tweak the carbs a little, and sure enough, put it completely out of tune. he wants to get 13K for the car, which is just too much. the market is soft on those things..but he needs money. (house issues). pass.

Well, Long Beach was nice. The outcome of the race was not good for Porsche but at least the weather was not ligtning, thunder, and downpour. Qualifying was rained out so they use championship points (so just the Sebring finishing order) and so the Flying Lizards started near the back.
I will upload my photos and videos hopefully overnight. Until then, here is the good, bad, and ugly- in that order. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I see from above its not. One of those cars had issues with cornering and the carb floats blocking the fule flow. I think I read that once a long time ago.

yeah, he switched to Dellortos from the Strombergs. the guy was not mechanically inclined and made the mistake of "turning screws" on it. he also switched to an electronic ignition system that i think might be suspect in the way that it was running. i felt bad looking through the receipts. the Lotus "mechanic" took this guy to the cleaners.

always preferred the looks of the Mangusta..but i know a guy who had one. he said his pantera was exponentially a better car...but it still sucked, too. too bad. beautiful machines.

On second thought I will just wait until I am back at Cal Poly to upload the pictures. I have much more bandwidth up there.
