I didn't think it was really possible to totally get rid of noise. That's why the labels we have about RF interference and how devices are supposed to accept it at one level or another.

evening Gents,

well last night, well early morning really, I was asleep, then got woken up, the house was shaking, I swear, it was shaking, I think I am dreaming, lay there for a while, then go back to sleep, thinking we just had a mini earthquake.

Went for a walk around the lake this morning (5klms) and mentioned it to the hubby and the midget, they burst out laughing, told me I was dreeeeaaaming, get home after the walk, put on the radio and voila, Canberra had a 3.6 earthquake at 5 am. Naaa Na Naa Naa Naaaa, not such a silly old fart then!!

getting ready to put both Miss Daisy and Pusha into mothballs in the next couple of weeks, sigh only three-four years.

Still busy working around the house. Got a 13 year old (young gentleman) having a birthday on Sunday, it is getting too hard trying to figure out what to get him for his birthday, he has everything, Xbox, laptop, ipad, iphone, more lego than you could put together in a year, 125cc Yamaha trailbike, push bike, the list of boys toys goes on and on. So I may have to resort to money!!!

Time for bed, night all

Hey tech heads, going from the Aus 240V power to the US 110v power, can I get converters to bring some of my electric stuff, you know the electric frypan, sewing machine, electric toothbrushes, coffee machine, electric kettle, stuff like that, I just don't think it is all that economical to leave all of that stuff here, and buy new over there, cause when I come home I just have to throw it away. Its different if anything dies whilst we are there, then I will have to replace it, but the cost of some of the stuff is just going to add up and be a huge bill. So if I could get some sort of step down converters that aren't too expensive I could bring my electrical items with me, but not the big TV you guys have a different system all together I understand, although do I have to bring an Aus TV to go with the Aus Xbox? questions questions,

Hey Stijn,

If I was going to ship them to you, I might as well ship them over to me!!

Producing solar energy again, haven't checked how much we got today, have to check it in the morning, even on slightly cloudy days, we are doing very well, about 8-9 kwh.

i would think that most 240V stuff will work just fine off 110V anyway.
except maybe stuf like coffee machines or other things with heating elements..

the little stuff will have a transformer built in .. check the label in the back, it will probably indicate dual voltages..

new cable, or plug and it will probably work just fine

Good Friday morning folks!

Max you have had advise from men & women from at least three different continents.

Everyone has had 100% the same advise!

At this rate Dave will be a high time pilot before you ever even talk to a girl. Man up, think of the Nike slogan and just do it.

talk with my manager, and got good feedback about the way i kinda took a lot of responsibilities on me, pretty much running my own team now.. leaving him free to run the others.
Nice to get good feedback like that...

Hey Vas, how ya been. It sounded like you had a brown moment at the Island. Glad you came out of it okay. Sounded like you had a good time. Very jealous.

I like the wheels in the pic Stick posted above.
Hey, they keep all the important bits from moving around too much and getting in harms way on the bike.
