Yeah, she's wrong about the jeans.

Nasty motorcycle wreck on the way home from dinner on Ventura near me. Two cars and the bike were all on the right side of the road when I passed and I only noticed the bike - in front of one of the cars - both were minivan-ish. Bike was messed up, debris everywhere.

It was started in S.F. and most of the music was liberal back then.

Peace, love, flowers! Oh, drugs too. Lots of drugs and sex.

Doesn't really bother me. I have plenty of other days off these days.

Yeah. The only thing I don't like is the fact Beth is off, we don't get too much time together anymore

Morning Richard. Yeah I would love to strike but I kinda need to eat too. It's a rough balancing act.

Morning Gents

Sitting looking at the available Porsche cars. Sigh so many to choose from, well one day I will find something, just want something nice looking 80s SC type, no whale tail, think they are a bit crass! Some sort of male phallic symbol to me, little duck tail is so much pruudier.

Have been busy reading Stephen Kings new book 11/22/63, only 800 odd pages, but nearly finished, not a bad read, not his usual kreepy style, not bad at all.

But noticed Glenn says that the F1 is on this weekend, so I'm off to find some footage and see how Webber is going, cheers!!

Big hug to all, hope the world looks better for everyone. If you have a sad day, go for a blat and if you have a nice car you should feel better, me I only have a Dodge Durango to go for a blat in, not much fun really!!!! Like, it has a 5.7 liter engine but it has about 3 ton to drag around sigh......!!!

The home health nurse is on her way here to pull out my PICC line

It is not painful but I am ready to have my arm back to normal.

Yay, Glen! Yup, it doesn't hurt to take out the PICC. Much easier than putting it in. Now you can party and dance into the wee hours of the morning.

Hey Glen

My brother had a hip replacement about 5 years ago, he is a few years older than me so he would have been in his early 50s when he had it done, he says its the best thing he had done for his health, he had been diagnosed as needing the hip replacement when he was in his mid 20s after a work accident, but because of the probability of problems with the replacement and the life of the prosthesis available back in the day, he decided to not get it done. he lived with a hell of a lot of pain over the years, and although partially really quite lopsided in the way he walked he did heaps, he cycles (and still does) 80+ klms every second day, to try to make sure his muscles held a lot of the weight on his hips, and that it just wasn't his bones holding him up. He is also a sailor, and the hip was really becoming a problem, let alone the damage he was having done to his kidneys and the rest of him by the drugs, so he finally went and had the hip replacement done, they got him out of bed the next day, he refused their pain killers, as he said it couldn't be any worse than what he had everyday, really. He was out of hospital in a few days, and got back to riding and sailing in a few months, today you wouldn't know that he had had a limp all those years, he has been to physio and stuff to get rid of the swagger he had. He is a new man, and wishes that the type of prosthesis he now has had been available when he was much younger.

So get better soon and get out of bed and up doing stuff as soon as you can, but don't overdo it, I am sure you are set for physio etc, but do what they tell you and get well soon.

The PICC is out! Now I have a big wad of gauze taped to my arm. That can come off tomorrow and be replaced with a band aide. It will be nice to take a shower and use both arms.

I am down to just one 320 mg tylenol every 4 hours right now. I may stretch that to every 6 hours tomorrow. I am feeling ready for my first beer in three weeks.
