Hi guys. Bye guys. Busy at work. Get better glen and Richard! Thinking of you guys.

Grrrrrr... Grouchy. Nothing like turning in a report and then they want to change the format so they ask you to redo it in the new format "ASAP". Nothing like rework and being inefficient to put me in an awesome mood. Rick, I am with you. Work bites sometimes. Back to growling... Grrrrrrrrrrr

i bet that it is not that often. that bone is full of marrow and i bet there is a good amount of stretch.

yep. that ethanol will get ya. the local corner market with pumps is having to pull all their equipment due to seal failures. the culprit: ethanol in the fuel. i told him.... he didn't want to charge for the ethanol-free fuel. i bet this event set him back YEARS in fuel profits.

meh. i have a bunch of metal in me. titanium and stainless. a full intramedial rod in left tibia and a bunch of wire holding my facial bones in place. i don't set anything off. back in the day, when things were much more normal and relaxed, we got the guys to 'wand' me, much more sensitive a test. no problem.

it is the first day of my three day work week. oh, and it started with me confronting my manager. what a waste of time. it only makes me feel better because i didn't wimp out on calling him on the chronic/acute BS. fk it.

Another big time Friday night. We just got back from dinner. It is nice to go eat someplace. Mrs Carrera came home and asked me where I was going to buy her dinner. I mentioned a place that we had not been to in months. She grinned and said that is what she had been thinking

Three day weekend what is that? I have Saturday going into work on Sunday and if I don't finish it all on Sunday I'll be back working Monday.

Glen, reading that made me smile. Even through my growling.

Sigh. Was a rough day. Would have been nice to go out to dinner. Instead I made a dinner that the boys didn't like and didn't eat. Sigh.

Tomorrow is the local PCA club breakfast. I may even try to drive the El Camino to the event. Ain't no way I can get into the 911 without violating some or all of my hip precautions.

Good night, and good luck tomorrow.

Why am I receiving a subscription to Rolling Stone magazine? Just got an issue in the mail with my name on it. And looking at the label, it looks like I'm signed up until October of 2013. Oddly, I don't recall subscribing. And when did Rolling Stone become a leftist manifesto? Sheesh, half the content is anti-Romney/Ryan.

It's yours. Should I call/email the subscription dept and have them change the address to yours? I've also got an issue of the American Airlines magazine I grabbed for you. It's got some article on the history of Fender. (Yeah, yeah, I know you made a Gibson replica, but I thought you still might find it interesting.)

So the head nurse where Mrs. Noah works informed my wife today that "California Chic" means no tie and no jeans. The latter part is at odds with the definition I found on the internet, where it specifically gave an example for women of designer ($$$) jeans with a designer top. My sister joked that I should show up in lots of Ed Hardy.
