What is strangest of all is I can't get on at all with wifi at home. I have to use my phone and 3G.

We got to smell the "furnansties" the stink when the furnace first fires up. We might get a frost tomorrow morning.

Way ahead of you Glen. Our oil burner is not too bad....the first fire in the wood stove is another story. Haven't fired it up yet.

Our heater is typical for Oklahoma, it is natural gas. We never need to have a truck fill our tank. It works great, but that first ignition always stinks. I changed the filter just because it has been 4 months and it did have some dirt on the filter.

We will be back in the 80s later in the week. The AC will be back on. I did turn on the floor heaters in the bathrooms. Those are wonderful. To have warm tile is great.

I bet. We have a gas furnace with an electrostatic filter. Run it thru the dishwasher once a month.

It is great to live in the 21st century. If it gets cold I can just push a little bottom and the house will get as warm as I want. No wood to chop, no ashes to empty, no coal to shovel, no noisy radiator to listen to. All done with electricity and gas.

I have a oil fired hot water boiler with the old cast iron radiators. Too bad it was converted to gold fired a few years ago

We went through the RMA process with New Egg and after a week we finally have the second drive replaced. I put everything together on the second system and did the "smoke test" there was no smoke and nothing but two lights on the motherboard. Grumble grumble cuss words and profanity.

I powered down my working system and removed the power supply, and put it in the new system. It fired right up. Both hard drives and the DVD show up in BIOS and it is ready to go. Power down and put the PS back in my machine and all is well. We call New Egg and they tell us we only get one RMA per customer number!

So we order a new PS and we will return the dead one after the new one comes in. Another week before we can fire up the second system.

The joys of computer builds. It always seems to be this way.
really? they would only give you one RMA? that surprises me a bit. usually, newegg will bend over to make the customer happy.
