And I don't wear my pants way up high like an old man, so my belly is not affecting things.

Yes. I was a size 29 until my early 20's, then up to 30 where it's been ever since.

I think I may have been a 30 at my skinniest. Back when I was about 18 and riding up the Snake for hours every day. Now I would say I am a 32 waist. But the 32s I have are a different style and brand and they end up being a bit too short so I prefer the 34s I have that they seem to make longer as well. I need a belt all the time for them, though. They fall off otherwise.

How hard is it going to be for me to yank the two fuel lines at the tank?

I'd really rather that the tank remains in place. Just the fuel lines.

It isn't hard, the worst part is going to be if you are working off the ground, getting your mane hung in the skateboard wheels

Have fun.
The flat rate way is to use a good set of side cutters on the clamps and a razor blade on the old lines. Slice and dice baby

What kind of clamps are we talking about? What clamps do I need to install the new lines?

The fuel line clamps, the ones that hold the rubber lines to the steel ones and yes you ALWAYS need to use new clamps, and fuel injection hose for any of the lines that are under pressure.
Just wait till you have to do the ones in the engine bay. You will want to pay my way to do those for you.
