That is a great looking rifle nynor! Glad to hear you're liking it so far. All around, the Palmetto Armory guys have their **** together.

If you're looking for a new grip, I'd have to imagine tapco or magpul make a SAW style for the AR....it'll be a little beefier....if you end up with a VFG, I've been very happy with my grip pod systems VFG/bipod.

Just a HU, personally, I despise the entire concept of cowitnessinf. Either have quick releases for any sight you pur on or use risers to keep you iron LOS intact.

Well that was disappointingly uneventful.

Your welcome Richard. I may need a beer run during the next blizzard. With luck we will never see snow in OKC ever again. But I suspect our luck will not be that good.

Hope the Rover is still running by then. Brother drove it for a week with the low coolant and engine temp dummy lights on. I suspect the result will be a head gasket going in the near future of the Rover. He has no idea why he can't seem to keep a car running, I think he blames it on extraterrestrials.

It might be those invisible pink unicorns that follow him around and mess with his cars.

Quick translation: co-witnessing is when you get an eotech style sight and essentially merge it into the stock sights. You introduce a failure point to a system that was previously very reliable, thus it is a bad idea tactically unless you have a quick release on it so you can rip it off and check ck it when it fails.
LOS is line of sight......iron LOS is the line of sight using the 'stock' iron sights
VFG is vertical fore grip. Attaches to the forward rail, if you have them. Some people prefer them....... some have a bipod that springs out of the bottom. The one on my FAL does this and I've found it useful and stable.

Anyway, good morning
