I know you remember 23 Jan, 1968. The Pueblo was captured by North Korea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Pueblo_(AGER-2)

They had standard procedures to flip one switch and instantly tell the White House of the impending capture. The main problem was no one in the military was notified. When the White house called the Pentagon no one knew anything about it. By the time the Air Force & the Navy were told the capture was done.

My dad was stationed on remote TDY in South Korea. We were living in OKC for the supposed year while he was away. After 6 months of being away from us he had been back for two days for his visit with the family when the Pueblo was seized. In the middle of the night the Air Force came to our house and stole my dad for another year. He was supposed to be home for several weeks. We one saw him for a day. Dang Koreans.

Oh, sorry about that.

My wife works for a University. She gets off for two weeks for the Christmas.

Joe! She is so cute! Hmmm... I will think of possible names.

Gonna attempt a 10 mile run today. Half marathon is on Sunday. I think this is the worse shape I have been before a half marathon. Even the one that I did five months after I had my son. My head hasn't been into the training. I have another run the following weekend too. Only a 6 miler. The last run of the month I had to bail out of. I am taking my sons to Polar Express. It is this cool train ride where you take it for a couple of hours and then when you arrive, you are "at" the North Pole and the kids get to meet Santa, the elves, all that junk. I have never gone but you have to buy your tickets way in advance. I mean like a year in advance. My ex bought the tickets so we are all going to together. I have to give it to him. He has really tried hard for the boys lately. What's up with you guys needing a hard kick in the arse before doing that? Anyway, should be fun for the boys.

Now to go kick the arse out of my body and kill this 10 miles...

Why run for 10 miles?

Did your car break?

She's a little demon. She plays pretty rough with the guys German shepherds. When I was there she took off running with one of the gsds behind her, ducked under a trailer at the last minute and the gsd just slammed straight into it

Went to buy a christmas tree today, had to go swap Marilyn for the Durango, couldn't fit one in. And I just hear her coming into the garage now. Time to cook for the hard working hubby,

That is a fun project. I put a new switch in mine back in 1996. The factory switch lasted 11 years. The replacement has lasted 16 years. I did put in the headlight relay mod many years ago. Hopefully I will not have to do the stalk anytime soon.
