Geez you guys are talking serious stuff, in Oz you would only be carrying a weapon, concealed or not if you were a:
cop;
crook;
security guard, but, not all;
farmer, who has feral animal problem, and only on his property;
hunter who has a permit and the permission of a property owner to shoot on his property.
