hehehe

Noah, you got me intrigued. I went and found a CBS news clip of the girls prepping....hehehe, wtf is an 'air facial'? I would have thought a dna facial would have been more appropriate. hehehe

Found a nice collection of photos....hmmmm all that clothing you can inhale...

Abscess, eh!!

Fairly typical after a tooth wound on the neck or shoulder, should have kept bathing it with warm salt water and keeping it open so it healed from the inside out. Yuk stuff, not nice !!!!

Hey, do you want some aerials of windmills?

I was working on a job yesterday and wondering what the heck that funny shape thing was and then I saw the shadow of the windmill. Without the shadow I would have never guessed correctly.

The snowboarding sucks in Austin!

But for a certified winter hater club member you will forget what winter was like if you live in Austin.

motorcycling year round. check.
fishing year round. check.
hunting. check.
warm weather, good food, nice people, courteous drivers, cheaper living, etc., etc.

snowboarding.... i'd be fine.
one big problem: i don't think i can bring myself to take the risk.

D, it all depends if you really hate where you are? Or whether you want to do it for some other reason, lifestyle, excitement, feel like your in a rut, that sort of thing.

Its okay for us, although in the last 8 years we have moved from Aust to France, to Aust, to the USA, it has all been "subsidized" by the Aust Govt, but for normal peeps its a big step and expensive. If house prices are cheaper in Austin, it can be financially viable to thinK about moving and using the extra money to have a better lifestyle.

Its a big step.

Active Porsche community...check.

I've only been to Austin once, but, I thought it was pretty nice. If the work there is good, the decision shouldn't be too difficult.

i don't HATE it here. it would be nice to make more money and have a lower cost of living.... i would miss snowboarding, a little, but all the other things i enjoy can be done year round. plus, it is a bit closer to the ocean. i've been to austin and it is nice.

when i start thinking about the logistics of moving (selling the house, lining up a new job for me and the wife and moving all of our crap), i start freaking out a little. we have no family there and no friends, except my wife's cousin. and the expense of it all.... lord.

we are getting some financial stuff sorted, so i may finally get around to getting licensed in texas. that will make it much easier to get a job there. my wife could probably walk into any medium to large sized hospital and have a job.

anyway, i make noise about this every winter. no reason that this winter should be any different for me.

i need to finish that novel i started, too.
