vespa scooter.... LOL!

i may not be going snowboarding after all. the snow isn't going to start until mid-afternoon. so, i was trying to find a replacement hose locally. no dice. most places don't even list it. it is specific to the 951.

Morning all. A vespa? Proving that paper pushers and bean counters just have to fill in the boxes and never read the stuff.

Have $500 deductable on my cars because any higher only saves $25 a year.

Full coverage on the Porsche with a replacement value of $25,000
Liability on the Range Rover and have homeowners with them.

Monthly premium is $103.

Looked at upping replacement value on 928 to $50,000 and it would double monthly premiums.

Precisely. All they know is the check box for proof of insurance is filled.

we pay around 1800 per car per year, liability and agreed value comprehensive, 500 deductible for both cars, "Marilyn" and the Durango, we had maximum no claim bonuses in Australia, haven't had an accident in Aust or France for over 20 years, showed them current coverage and letters from Aust insurers an the French ones, but we are dirty filthy overseas peoples, and that means we pay through the nose. I did check everyone, AAA, USAA, Hagertys, Progressive, Geico, Allstate, and they were all much the same, USAA wouldn't give us insurance as we aren't USA military, Hagerty's wouldn't give us insurance for Marilyn because we didn't have enough cars for us to have a daily driver each plus a pleasure car. So the Durango is with Geico and marilyn is with Progressive, tried combining them with one insurance company and there was no advantage in costs, go figure.

D,

stopped coughing up green chunky stuff, and now have I suppose what you would call a dry hacking or unproductive cough, feels like ****.

No fever anymore. A couple of the Aussies were layed out for two weeks with it, so I suppose we are a bit tougher, we did have our flu shots twice, both in Oz and here, months ago, so maybe that saved us a bit of heart ache.

I was paying around $2500 a year, now it'll be around $1300 for two cars.

I was really hoping that Narelle was going to hit the coast a bit higher up. It looks like we'll miss out on getting some rain again. Most of this, when it brakes up, will go below us. Oh well, a pretty apt name for a cyclone is Narelle. My SILs name is Narelle - she's a destructive loon too.

Mornin' Jeff. Pity I'm too old for those Canadian Cougars. I haven't been hunting in years.

New cat on the Toyota. Another $220 out the window. I was in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. That's a plus. Next is to change the oil, then get it smogged. The outflow of money continues!

G'day Jim.

I was having dinner with my wife at one of the local bars a while back. This particular bar is a know cougar trap (Bojangles Salloon if you're ever out here, it's a good feed and watering hole). A friend we hadn't seen for a while saw us and ask what we were doing out at this bar (obviously eating dinner?). But, quick as a flash, I answered that I was on a cougar hunt and found one.

I got hit again.

sounds like you are doing better. perhaps a bit of Guaifenesin syrup would help to get the last bit out of your lungs.

A typical point & shoot camera, just stick it in an eyepiece and try to hold steady.
