Man, I'd be all over that hottie! The server is nice too.

Just going into winter here. Had the last gasp of summer. Well, wet cough actually.
Won't get snow though. I love snow, I have never seen it so light and dry and damn deep as in Whitehorse when I was there last year.

I didn't think it was going to be a reality but the shop is closed today. I have heard of the mythical good boss but never actually met one..........................until now.

Good one Rick, glad you finally managed to find a decent man for a boss. Having worked in the forces for over 30 years, I have managed to find a few, but there are lots of A-holes out there.

Watching the Teev and they are calling today's storm a s***questration, nice sense of humor.

Great pics Tweeze, Dave, Alarick and Craig, and Dave nice arm around the server there, she looks like a lovely girl, nice outfit, it looks like another fun place to work, wearing that outfit would be enough to make you laugh every day, and I prefer it to the Hooters outfits, there are a little gross I think.

So Rick, no work today, no pay? Or do you take a holiday day, or are there a few weather compulsory days off factored into your pay package?

The schools around here didn't use up their s...days so if it is forecasted they get out whether it snows or not.

I hope that when I was a boss, I was considered a good boss and not an a-hole. I do know that the department I was over fiercely defended the processes I put in place. It was 4 years before things changed. I know they have ended up doubling the staff in the department to do the same amount of work because they are spending more time fixing the increased errors.

Where I work the weather days are voluntary. You don't get paid if you don't work, but it does not count against you and you can use a vacation day if you want to. There is always enough employees that show up to keep the factory open and production cranking. They will even send a 4x4 to pick you up if you want to come in but don't want to drive your vehicle in the adverse conditions.

If I don't go in I don't get paid but if the roads are so bad that I need to use a 4WD then there will be no work anyway.
The S*&( just slid off the roof and squashed the Targa. Time to suit up and pray the top survived

G'day guys.

Sharyn dragged me out for a game of mixed netball tonight. I lasted 5min and dislocated my ring finger on my right hand. Took a bit of an effort but I pulled it back in. Icing it now and numbing myself with a healthy hit of Bundy.

Holy crap that snow is heavy. You could see the tops on the Boxster and Targa raise up as I cleared the snow from them.

So no damage then? That's why I have a garage, Marilyn wouldn't last out there too long on days and nights like this.
