I was asking if he had to wake up that early or if he wakes up that early just for fun... Little bit of sarcasm in there

I am almost there (w***). Gonna be a long day. Lots of deliverables, another person quit, putting us at about 50% manning, and just got an Emil from my reserve unit with a hot tasking due tomorrow morning...so looks like another all-nighter

You thought you found the answer on that magic carpet ride last night,
But, when you wake up in the morning, the world still gets you uptight,
Well, there's nothing that you ain't tried
To fill the emptiness inside,
But, when you come back down, you still ain't feeling right.

It seems like kicks just keep getting harder to find,
All your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind,
Before you find out it's too late,
You'd better get straight,
But, not with kicks, you just need help now.

You think you're gonna find yourself a little piece of paradise,
But, it ain't happened yet, so now you'd better think twice,
Don't you see, no matter what you do,
You'll never run away from you
If you keep on running, you'll have to pay the price.

Don't it seem like, kicks just keep getting harder to find,
All your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind,
Before you find out it's too late,
You'd better get straight,
But, not with kicks.

To help you face the world each day,
That road goes nowhere,
I'm gonna help you find yourself another way.

Kicks just keep getting harder to find
You don't need kicks, now,
And all your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind
You just need help, now,
Before you find out it's too late, you'd better get straight
You'd better, you'd better, you'd better.

Kicks just keep getting harder to find
You don't need kicks, now,
And all your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind
You just need help, now,
Before you find out it's too late, you'd better get straight
You'd better, you'd better, you'd better.

Kicks just keep getting harder to find
And all your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind
Before you find out it's too late, you'd better get straight

Kicks just keep getting harder to find
And all your kicks ain't bringing you peace of mind
Before you find out it's too late, you'd better get straight

Music from before your time..,although you might have been conceived to it...

Paul Revere and the Raiders...then covered by the Monkees, I believe.

Morning y'all.
Then this Carole King number from the Tapestry album is more suitable:

You've got to get up every morning
With a smile on your face
And show the world
All the love in your heart

Then people gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes you will
That you're beautiful as you feel

Waiting at the station with a workday wind blowing
I've got nothing to do but watch the passers-by
Mirrored in their faces I see frustration growing
And they don't see it showing, why do I?
.....

I have been dealing with a customer that ordered a 44x50 print and he did want it mounted but no frame. Then he decided he needed a frame. No big deal, we get it framed. Now he is wanting us to hang it on the wall!. I finally used all my tact and suggested that all he needs to do is tap a nail into the wall!

Glen that reminds me..I need to get some large prints made. Joe got a big brother goodie bag from the tech at the 3d ultrasound we had done with Evan and it came with this little cheapo-o stuffed puppy. "Puppy" is super important to Joe and he has been stitched up more times than I can count as it wasn't made to last a week much less 3 years of constant wear. I took some pictures of Puppy so I could immortalize him for when he eventually is beyond repair. I thought it was a good idea.

Photography has changed so much because of digital. The biggest problem is long term storage of digital photos. I bet millions of photos vanish every day because of computer crashes. Burned CDs only last a few few years.

I have been scanning a lot of photos from my parents house. Some of the photos are 100 years old. I wonder how people will keep digital photos for their grandchildren to see in 100 years.

so true, computer programming also is changing so fast that I know back in the day (early 80s) we had some pretty basic programs at work for databases and documents and I know we cannot even see them anymore, nothing to open them with these days. I know I have already lost digital photos, and am continually having to back them up into the latest media, last week I found my Midget had reformatted one of the external HDD so he could wipe everything off and use if for games, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, that had been one of my backups, sigh, kids.

Very true. I back mine up in 4 different places rarely printing them. I keep them on dropbox and at work because theres no chance hell i lose them if my computer crashes..the HD is backed up weekly and the server is backed up so.. it's safe there for now. I also have them on Cd. I'm afraid its beyond organization at this point.

My youngest doesn't even have a "baby book"....

One of my friends retired from a high tech company. The company bribed him with a huge salary to come back just to set up a system where they could prove in court a patent drawing was done on a specific date and time with equipment that is now obsolete. He ended up scouring the globe to find some old machines just to store them. It must be a continual problem with CAD software. How can you prove a CAD drawing for a patent was done 10 years ago and not yesterday?

I deal with that here at work as well. We have good old analog film that goes back to 1947. I can go put my hands on a negative of city of Shawnee in Pottawatomie county from 1955 in short order. We deal with that all the time. Our digital files are sometimes a challenge to find. Sometimes we have to go back and scan the film.
