Getting ready to head in to cars and coffee. The boy sold his hopped up, front wheel drive turbo Volvo with the grenaded trans, and bought a rear wheel drive turbo Volvo, we have already started making it fast.
This could be fun, he wants to see if he can outrun Lanna on the back roads on the way in.
Yes he has more power, buuuuuuuuuuuut he has twice the weight and 1/4 the time behind the wheel.
I think it might be time for the old man to teach the boy a lesson.

Good morning folks. I am off to the El Camino club breakfast. I have several errands to do today.

Well maybe it was a stupid tapatalk post from a phone.

Today is chamber of commerce weather, except typical Oklahoma breeze. Blue skies, 70s and a nice mild breeze of 8 to 12

I am out in the garage enjoying tinkering. This is from the garage laptop, a laptop that came out right after Win XP was released.

I am off to the Porsche club new member appreciation dinner tonight. FREE PIZZA! Except I get to pay for it

Well the club will pay for it but I am the guy that HAS to go to pay for everything. It is tough duty, go eat free pizza and shake hands but someone has to do it.

Apparently he has the front 944 turbo calipers on the front Carrera rotors but I think the rear 944 turbo rotors might be 20mm and therefore the Carrera pads might need to be shaved if the 944 Turbo rear caliper pistons won't retract the extra 0.08" on each side to clear the thicker rotor.
None of us have turbos... Look in the parts catalog...

Looks nice!

We went to the ballet. Pirates, slave girls, sword fighting, kidnapping, harem girls, betrayal, revenge, shooting, more girls. What's not to like?

Very purdy Rick! I had the pleasure of spending some time wandering around one of those on the showroom floor in OKC. Very, very sexy cars.

That thing sounded awesome, the guy who owns it is about 30ish and a real smacked ass. He brought his sister with him and she was just cute as a button, and very nice so we didn't beat him senseless and leave him in the corner while we took turns driving that beast.

Make sure when you install it to leave the grill out just in case it won't open back up, you can unbolt the latch. Seen it done a few times the hard way.

Yup....had it all fitting good before i took it over to the body shop. I'll double check that they didn't move the latch when i put it back on.
Have you got a hood shock on yours? Mine pushes up on the lid so hard that it raises that corner up. Decided i'd leave it off and use a prop to hold it open.
