I spent most of it riding around in the country side with the breeze blowing through my hair

Hehe, I cheated a little.

I found a kit on the net. It had plans and all the fixtures/fittings. All I had to do was cut/rout/drill/sand/paint a few pieces of MDF over a weekend, then add the wheel and pedal combo for the xbox.

Great pics from Canepa. I love vintage race cars. I wish there was still such variety today. 6 wheels!

Yesterday I went on a geology field trip to observe folded rock layers in Montana de Oro state park but since I was the carpool driver I had to take some people back to SLO so I went and rode my bike over to Bishop Peak and hiked to the top. Today I went back to MdeO and hiked up to Oat's Peak. I think next time I will do Valencia Peak since it is a couple miles shorter but just as high.

I do not have a camera with me, but it was a lovely day. Great views of Morro Rock, the Irish Hills, the ocean, and the rest of the mountains around here.

Jeff that's cool. I built the boys a lunar lander fort when they were little. Not sure I ever took a picture, my bad. Still have the drawing set.

We had a big plotter delivered to work last week, and I just couldn't believe nobody wanted the box, when my boys were younger, they loved big boxes, we would make all sorts of things out of them, a huge box would be painted, have windows cut into it, words written on them, kids toys stick to it, all sorts of stuff. It wouldn't go to the recycle centre until it was well and truly dead. They loved them, but sadly nobody wanted the one at work, the poor huge tri walled box went straight to the garbage centre, no imagination some people!!!

I bought my kids a early ford festiva to learn to drive in. Many times my son and I talked about pimping it with a cardboard body kit. All it did was send my daughter into a rant about it, and Sharyn would roll her eyes. Never got around to doing it. I think it would have been a good joke to do to the old 5hit box.

I ended up selling that car after the kids finished beating it up for a couple of boxes of red wine.....absolute bargain.
