Get off my lawn!
|
Good morning folks. I wanted to work on my 911 intake but Mrs. Carrera had other plans for my time. And to quote Forrest Gump. "That's all I got to say about that"

Morning everyone. Boss is off today, so I am in charge of the plant. Never realized how many stupid questions he really got throughout the day. Every question..... ME: "What does the daily sheet say?"
Yeah, I guess they expect me to say, "No you don't have to do that, someone else will get it. How about we send the mouse in my pocket out to do all the work."

Ah the joys of being the decision maker.
I had a job as production manager at a place that everyone expected me to fix their little problem. A processor might need a small adjustment and all work STOPPED and the employees went to the break room to chat while I was supposed to fix the machine by myself. "It has always been done like that" does not cut it with me. Gee wiz I miss that.

Yeah, a lot has been: "What did your supervisor tell you?"
"I didn't ask him." "I think you missed a step."

It looks like it's gonna be a nice day (outside) today. I should've taken the day off.

Morning all. Here is the plan.
Drop kids at school. Wash 911. Drive winter crap out of it. Chase vacuum leak. What do ya bet I don't get past step two.

David, that sounds like a good plan.
It is a beautiful day here. clear skies and it is headed to 60 degrees. Since the engine and transmission is out of my 911 I won't be driving it anytime real soon.

I'll try to help online if you're not working on it too late. My time zone is EDT.

Stijn!!
Well, I have to start after the maniacs go to bed. Which is about 830 but they don't actually fall asleep until 9 pm if they aren't tired. I will try to put them to bed early. Thanks Jim. You rock. But really? Is it that hard?

No, not hard at all. Usually it's the (lack of) quality of the instructions that trips people up.

Morning all! Jim that squirrel picture made my morning. Going to have to send it to my baby girl. Her boyfriend's family fosters rescue squirrels. They get them from a wildlife rescue, raise them and then turns em loose. They're on the edge of the redwoods.
I have to watch what I say when I'm over there. I was raised on pan fried squirrel and the best homade squirrel gravy you ever tasted. ![]() I'm starting to salivate.

My dog fanciers herself as a great squirrel hunter. She never catches them, but likes the chase.
