Looks like rain and gloom today. Yesterday started helping my dad organize and set up his side business. He bought his late best friends gun shop and is looking to take it over as owner. This is the same guy I acquired my 911 off of. I wish my dad success and am willing to do anything to get his feet on the ground. Guns and hunting has always been a big hobby for my dad and he is excited to get this business kicked off.

Monday is over. Well, except for Rick. Dang that sucks dude. I wish I knew what to say.

My transmission is in pieces.

It is breathtaking how much some of the bearings sell for. And of course one of the bearing that has to be replaced will have to come from Germany.

The good news is the gears and ring & pinion are all fine.

Thanks Jim.... Hopefully this one is as easy as the midterm. Just a freshman level pub speaking course.... I could have trained a monkey to pass the midterm!

Gee public speaking. A shy young man like yourself will have a tough one with that. Like driving long distance to a city and selling a product. Something new and different

When I look back, I liked finals week. That sounds absurd but as a college student, we were allowed to shut off the rest of our lives. Kind of shut ourselves in the library, dorm room, apartment and just study. And it was acceptable to say,"I can't, it's finals week", and people accepted that. All you had to do was focus on studying.

Now, I can't use that excuse. Nobody gives a crap if stuff hits the fan at home. Ok, only if it gets to a certain level. But if my kid gets sick and I am scrambling to get a presentation together, nobody at work is gonna let it slide. They give the obligatory,"oh, I'm sorry" and then, "so, how's that presentation going? Can you get that slide deck to me this afternoon?"

I guess what I am trying to say is enjoy, Sidney. In some ways, real life is awesome and in some ways, not so much. No "FML" because its gonna get bigger. Bigger in good ways and bigger in stressful ways. This goes for you too, Max. That's why all of us old wise ones keep telling you young pups to savor your youth.

Do something fun in those five days. Again , no FML.

Our toes are webbing together, anybody want some extra rain?
The ball is rolling and it looks like possil is going to be able to take the kids in a couple of weeks, as log as everything Beth and I want are in place and he knows that one eyelash gets ruffled I will roll into Pittsburgh and take the kids that I now have custody of.
He might be a real prick but he is very good with the kids, and they are his after all.

I see lots of extra parts in the back ground. It is like trying to refold a road map.

Sounds like things are moving along. I hope everything works out well for the kids.

Glen, you now have an opportunity for your 911 to shed some weight. Lot's of "unneeded" parts in that picture.

When that same storm was here it dropped some rain. We will take all of your excess. We want more rain. Of course not on the weekend and only at night.
