Joe,

come round for a haircut, I do the boys in my family, that includes the big fell as well! lol

I always want the hubby to have slightly longer hair than the military length we have been used to for the last 30+ years, but he refuses, hates his hair touching his ears or his collar, too old to change, which is a pity as he has curly hair if its allowed to get longer.

Evening Jeff,

aren't you glad that the centre of Oz isn't like the centre of the US of A, those bluddy Tornados, wtf!!

Me I think if I lived out there, I would build underground, on the side of a hill with half a hill on top of the house, and huge steel and concrete sliding doors that come over the windows, in the case of tornado weather. I would freak out if we had to live there

the job i am interviewing for on wednesday would be interesting and challenging. i will probably have to do some schooling in order to do it properly, which is fine.

frankly, just applying for other work is relaxing and satisfying. getting a couple of interviews is just icing.

i do want the auditing/research position, so i am willing to make sacrifices. interestingly enough, i did get a haircut just last week, after an entire year. it all still pulls up to a ponytail, but just barely. i look somewhat presentable.

Tornadoes are bad things. My parents and grandparents lived here since the 1900s. Not one of them ever had tornado damage at all. It is simply not a big issue. If it hits it is bad, but they really are very rare, even here. This storm is very bad, likely a F5. Those are even more rare. We had a full day of warning. We knew yesterday a big storm would hit at 3:00. We did not know how bad, or exactly where.

Certainly am. Our Willy-Willys are thankfully on a much smaller scale.

i've experienced a few dust-devils up close and personal. annoying and gritty, but nothing like a tornado.

Huge tornado hits Oklahoma City suburb, kills 51 | ksl.com

51 dead. i bet that count increases over the next couple of days, considering the massive damage inflicted.

glen, rick, be safe.

David's house is 1 mile East of Grady. They gots no lectricity.

I think them thar tarnaiders pop up in the same places cause o the geography. They are basically an updraft gone wild. The area's of plowed ground and concrete heating up get em goin. Sad to say, but I moved to an area the tarnaiders aways smacked down when I was growin up. Example last night. Few years ago one went a couple of miles south.

Morning Rick.

Jeff you getting some rain! Again.

Prayers for all of those people in Oklahoma, and hope that some of the missing are found alive. It is so horribly sad, all those people, and the poor children. Prayers for them alll.

Most likely. We are still trying to nail down the exact path. It will cost a lot to fly and map it. Maybe we can sell enough to break even.

Morning everyone.... last night was a late night in the garage. I was in there detailing my jeep until 11pm. It's one of those moments where you start, look at the clock halfway and hang your head saying "$hit." You know you can't stop halfway though. You have to finish, so it was a late one and I just want to go back to sleep because it's a busy day in the lab for me today.

My jeep is smiling again though. Poor car, I didn't get to do my beginning of summer detail last year with everything I was going through and lack of energy. I just have to do the engine compartment yet and put a coat of wax on the outside. I think next year I am going to have to clay the car. I can really feel the debris in the clear coat.
