Isn't that the one with the most potent venom of any land snake?

BTW, I like how you guys ran out of names for snakes. You started with "Inland Taipan" and such, then the early settlers got tired. "Another fkin snake? Alright, we'll call this one brown snake. Now throw another shrimp on the barbie".

Haha, That's funny Max. Yup, the brown is not the worst but it's well up there. A baby one will kill you a few times over.

I went round and round with Dave trying to explain that a black snake is called a black snake.

So 20 of the top 25 are there in Oz. Throw in a few deadly spiders, some super deadly jellyfish and octopus and you have some real fun.

There is one snake around here even Rick could handle. It is about the size of a soda straw. It eats earth worms. It's mouth is so small it can't even try to bite a human. It is not poisnious at all. I have seen several in around the Koi pond.

Yeah, and they forgot about the Western Brown. Maybe one of those Black Tiger Snakes should be for him.

We mostly have Westerns and Kings (Mulga Snake) around here, although the Mulga Snake is really from the black snake family. It's probably a western brown loose at the moment.

It's all good, there's a few sets of these strategically placed around the compound.

I suppose you could use 'em for that too, but if you don't know how to use one of these properly they do make a good whacking stick.

where I come from in the Australian Capital Territory, it is a conservation area, all native species are "protected" no killing allowed and that goes for snakes... yeah right. If its anywhere near me or my house, it isn't going to be alive for long, that's what really long shovels are for!
