Night all.

I'm 23. Not in SLO anymore - for the moment. Might be heading back up that way again for a job. Heard of Kpig. I listened to it once or twice when it was playing on the shop radio of a friend's dad. It was ok for a while, but I prefer more rock in my folk-rock. I didn't mind having it on like I would with gangsta rap or something, though. I usually listened to KFXM (The Fox) from Santa Maria or The Beach from Morro Bay I think it was. Also there was an associate of KUSC up there that was good for classical when they weren't having a fundraising drive.

The only band of those that you mentioned that I know is She and Him, because I watched a show about Zooey Deschannel a week or so ago. (And I don't want any comments about that! )

I'm seriously beginning to dislike this overnight/weekend work crap.

Led Zeppelin is one of the few bands where I can pick any song from any album and I will enjoy it. So easy to get into the songs. The odd thing is that I probably wouldn't rate any of their songs as my favorite (my favorite changes pretty much daily).

That is how I feel about AC/DC. I like all their music, but none are my favorites. I have all the Zeppelin albums. Of course I have all of the ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, Skynyrd, and a lot more.

Mertnin.

Rick, your hospitality towards door to door evangelists reminds me of a cousin. His dad was a Baptist preacher/real estate tycoon. When the Jehovah's witnesses knocked on his door he would invite them in and start throwing down a good ol' Southern Baptist fire and brimstone sermon at them. Said they would literally run away.

Long long ago in the previous millennium I was dating a lady that was a teacher for deaf children. She have the very difficult task of teaching a deaf child how to communicate with sign language.

Anyway I was at her house watching TV. The JW guys show up and knock on the door. She went to answer it and just used sign language and did not respond to anything they said. One of them looked at the other and started talking like we could not understand them. Asking what do we do now? We can't even talk to them!

They finally just walked away. I burst out laughing. We were watching TV and had the sound on. They never figured it out.

Good morning folks.

Morning everyone.

Well my dad and I got skunked at the big gun raffle we went to on saturday. On the plus side we had a great scenic drive in the 911 out of it. All his friends got skunked also.

There is this stuff called Nature's Miracle that does a great job of getting rid of that skunk smell. Why did they have skunks at a gun raffle anyway? Did some get loose or something?

Things are good.... Back home now to finish school. Starting my last semester. Starting to hunt for real jobs, as my current employer is being a little flaky on what full time openings they have.

Markus, I think I will miss this car show.

Can you swing by for me.

Friday night 13th of September, we display a roundtrip movie and a movie of last year’s show, at parties are us, Kerkstraat 1 meijel starts 21:00, everybody welcome

Saturday 14th and Sunday 15 the El Caminos show, downtown meijel, address : raadhuisplein time 11am till 17am

I would love to ship my car and myself over for the show but I suspect that would be costly.

Evening Y'all.
Well after spending the last week and a half looking at options for employment outside of my field it looks as though I am going to have to return to turning wrenches.
I know I am going to have to start at the bottom if I change and I am willing to do that but I am not willing to take a 30-40k paycut.
Rickie is not a real happy camper right now
