I have only been pulled once in 30 years. That was about 10 years ago. The cop said there was a APB for a late model white 911. I showed him my insurance card and mentioned that my car was a 1985 model.

I have driven the 911 over 70,000 miles and the El Camino almost 300,000 miles. It sure seems helps to have a shinny well maintained white car, and be a George Clooney look alike.

well, the ticket last week was in the subaru. i had no idea it could even go that fast up a steep hill at 8000 feet altitude.

they are saying its going to be a cold and snowy winter. i noticed that the hummingbirds left almost a month earlier than last year. they have been gone from my house for about a week, now. last year, i had hummingbirds in the yard into october. and it got cold here, fast.

The last couple of tickets I got, a couple of years ago was because I had nowhere to go. One was on the interstate and the other I was going to be in a residential area. I have had more than a few county cops simply give up and not bother trying to catch me. If there is any chance they didn't get get my tag, the right foot hits the floor

There is a crazy high pressure dome stuck right over us. The rain all around that dome but it is over 25 days since we had rain. It is still in the mid 90s. I figure fall will be about an hour long. Then the freezing weather will hit.

unfortunately, the cops around here don't give up until someone is dead. it is in the news all the time.

speed limit +20mph is where they have to break it off here. So on the back roads, it's the high end of second for me.

The Oklahoma State Fair starts this weekend. It should pop the dome and bring on the wet stuff. I think it has to do with either the livestock, or the carney body odor, ...may be the same thing, dunno.

I had not heard about that. I am real glad I am not planning a tourist trip there tomorrow.

Likely the million Muslims will be like the million man march. Not even close to a million. 2 million bikers would make Sturgis look like a day at the park.

Yeah I am glad I am a few miles south of there. Not trying to get political here but Muslims marching on D.C. on Sept 11 feels like they are celebrating the day, I am not a fan

Flew to Indy on Sunday...checked on my house. Flying back today. My first 2 day weekend in months! Back to work tomorrow
