beautiful day here for a little drive, went shopping for chrysanthemums, got some for the front porch, looks pretty, the summer flowers had just about had it. I like to have the place looking cheery, and pots are so much easier than trying to dig the clay we have here around the house.

Reading a book, Inferno, another Dan Brown, not bad, I do like his books. Can now imagine the Tom Hanks , Robert Langdon, it makes things better.

Beautiful day in the mid-Atlantic. We went hiking in the Shenandoad Nat'l Forest. The temps were in the low 50s up there, and yet, I managed to work up a sweat.

Was kinda cold and rainy while we were hunting today. But it never got too heavy so we kept at it. Dad got one and I got two. They say the bird pop is way down this year. Still a good time watching the dogs working the fields

Sup kids....
spent the day just screwing around....nice to relax once in a while.
Got the prop I'm gonna use for the airboat on and tested with the engine as well as final tuning......and no blood! Getting some stupid thrust by dropping the prop down to a APC 10x6....rev up is much smoother and I get an extra couple thousand RPMS...... I was pulling about 11k with the 11 inch prop.....getting over 13 now
Did a rough sketchup of the air rudder on some basswood.
Gotta pick up some control horns and all that crap next time I'm in Savannah. Pretty sure I'm gonna hinge a peice of basswood for a spoiler and link it to the throttle servo so the AOA increases with throttle.....it's just gonna be tough getting the throw right so it doesn't get ridiculous, don't want it to be basically an airbrake at WOT

We got done with the autocross fairly early. The Saturday autocross is not as well attended as a Sunday autocross. It is astonishing how fast the new 991 is. The one that attends is a new driver. He admits he is not pushing real hard. The only guy that beat him today was in a race prepared BMW with race tires and the driver is flogging it.

I got home and washed up the 911 and it is in It's spot with the car cover on it. then I washed the Elky and mowed the lawn. Tomorrow may be goof off day.

Bought these yesterday. The real deal! (After buying fakes twice...and having resell them)

Less than 10lbs each! 1300$ for the set...

Wow. Just wow. Those seats look gorgeous. Great buy. If you don't fit in them, I'll be happy to take them off your hands.

They would look awesome in a white 964RS lookalike too.

Or in a 930...

Trouble is, I fit just fine them.
Like a glove.

Now to find me some brackets and sliders.

Morning Y'all

Nice seats G, bet they're real comfy too.

Yawn! Still buggered from yesterday's play (fitted the new airbag coil inserts and mowed the lawn in 36C heat). Could easily go back to sleep but the Monday morning thing is calling out to me...time to go replenish the coffers.
