Sweet Jim, swing by this way, we have a shower we want to replace in the master bath.

Our beagle took a bone out to bury in the snow. The lab went out to dig out the bone he buried in the snow. He is looking dismayed and she is wagging her tail enough to produce thrust.

At least it is snow instead of the lawn.

Stijn!!

Yanno I realize I live a sheltered life and don't hang with the IN crowd. I have only seen Cocaine once in my life. Back in the olden analogue days a customer came in with several rolls of film for us to process. 35 mm film was sold in a neat little plastic can that dopers liked to repurpose. The customer came in and was opening all the plastic cans and dumping the rolls of film on our counter. One of them had a funny while powder and not film. That customer turned pale and scooped up the powder in the can with a tool he had on him.

I did not test that powder but the boss was not real happy.

That same thing happened with a chick but she had some oregano or something like it in there.

Hooly bloody dooly!

Swapped out the pcv, hose, and grommet on the old girl this morning. The bits on the right broke off as it was coming out and fell back into the rocker cover.

It was touch and go for a while, but I managed to get it all.

1st year in college I went to a local OKC university, and ran around beer drinking with a friend. He seemed to always have lots of different recreation drugs available, but we preferred just drinking beer. Everyone called him Flash and he drove what looked like a very nice Z28, except it was a full blown tube framed race car that was contructed to look so much like a regular Z28 you could not tell the difference if they were parked side by side.

2nd year I went to OSU and lost touch with my beer drinking buddy, didn't think much of it as people will lose touch going away to school.

A few years later was hanging out with one of my college age nephews that was very close to getting into the wrong crowd, I was there to help make sure he didn't get too close. When to party with my nephew after he got off work and the group had to wait for some guy to drop of some drugs. To my surprie what showed up for the drop was this very familiar brown Z28 with custom license plate "Flash"!!!

Yep, it was my drinking buddy. Talked to him a while and found he had been dealing since before I knew him, and had been taking orders and making drops while we were driving around drinking. We would stop someplace for a few minutes and go on. Rarely more the 2 or 3 stops a night so I never thought anything about it. We also often stopped to check to see if people I knew were around and/or wanted to go partying with us. It was before cell phones.

Found Flash was also one of the biggest drug traffickers to bring pot into OKC. His Z29 was purpose built for it and setup to outrun ANYTHING. The main reason we lost touch is while I was in college he was in jail. The sheriff in one of the small towns he had paid off turned him in. He said it was not a big deal because he basically had made enough money that it was just a minor annoyance and only 6 months in a minimum security prison.

Only once while we were out cruising around did he "open up" the Z with me in the car. It was after I helped him put a new speedo in that included exhaust and cylinder head temp gauges on the same gauge face. It was wicked scary fast and I was driving a 11 second plymouth muscle car at the time.

Being friends and a former running buddy with "The Flash" really helped my leverage when guiding my nephew to realize you can have fun without going too far and ruining your life.
