Planning to wash the GTS Friday, then driving to the 928 group breakfast in DFW Saturday morning. I didn't put it on my calendar or tell anyone. Now I heard they are forecasting rain and thunderstorms for wash day. Fooey on the spoon code, think I need one of them tinfoil hats.

Richard, the forecast for around here is Friday afternoon rain. If you are going down Friday morning you may be OK unless the storms follow you down.

Remember your driving luck in Texas. So far one engine & one ticket. Are you sure you want to drive down?

Ha ha! I think I need I need to take lessons in Asian Pirate talk from Richard.

The eye is a lot better in terms of the corneal abrasion after he put the bandage contact. But he said I WILL go blind in that eye again if I don't do something. He said we will discuss my options next appointment which is later this month. What can you do? Just gonna enjoy the view right now.

How can I quit poking it if I haven't even poked it? It hurts too much to poke. I haven't worn a contact in that eye for over 5 years so believe me, I don't touch that eye...

Plan is to wash car Friday afternoon/evening and drive down very early Saturday morning when there is not much traffic.

Part of the reason for the trip is for the mechanic that rebuilt the motor to go over it Saturday afternoon to check for leaks, loose things, etc..and do a timing belt re-tension.

I got that corneal abrasion last week to that eye. But I don't even know what caused that. But this eye has been giving me problems for about 4 years now. Four years ago, vision started to go bad. Decline took almost a year until i was legally blind. Legally blind for one year. He scraped my eyeball twice and the second time worked. Last two years have been cruising. Just recently my eye started to decline again. Short version.

On another note, got half a case of pomegranates for 10 bucks. Yum!

Sitting in the waiting room at the bone crackers wondering where I stashed the spare DME for the 944. Bugger of a thing is playing up - intermittent start again

Hey Rick. What about our weather lately? Mid-to-upper 80s through the weekend. What season is it?
