Rant:

Dang low life meth heads. Getting my allergy medicine is just stupid complicated. I can go get a few pills over the counter after I show my ID, and sign my name several times before I ever get to pay for it. I can't get very many pills so I have to go weekly. If I get a prescription the ID process goes away after I pay for a Dr. visit. When I get my pills after either method they are packaged in 10 pack boxes in blister packs. I have to fight to get the pills out of the blister packs. All because the freaking meth heads create a market for meth and the demand it met by meth cooks.

I have a simple solution. Mix up some meth that is instantly deadly. One toke or injection or pill or however meth is taken just kills the dumb ass taking meth. After meth heads start dropping dead the world will be a better place and the market will dry up.

End rant.

Sent my Valentine 1 in to get it upgraded today. For $300 they send me back the newest one that cost $400. They call it upgrade, I call it trade-in.

Going to put wiring in so I don't have to use up my cigarette lighter to run it. Trying to decide if there is a good place to wire in the remote display on the GTS.

If I traveled very much I would be interested in doing an expensive Escort custom hidden install with laser shifter.

I find it is cheaper to just do the speed limit and enjoy the stereo. And if you are driving near the coast then the scenery is better taken in when you aren't worried about cops.

Drive the speed limit? I think you are suffering from altitude sickness. See what happens when you fly El-Cheepo air with a non pressurized cabin?

I think you are confusing me with Jim. I've had a couple tickets for about 80 but generally I keep it 65-70. Of course, most of the time it is too conjested to go faster. But driving to Cal Poly is so scenic that I just like to cruise, watch the mountains, ocean, and sunset go by while listening to music and just thinking. It's really quite magical.

It's not worth the stress of worrying about cops or the expense of the occasional ticket.

I stick to the speed limit in the canyons, too. There it is more interesting, of course, because you are taking a 15mph turn at 45.

You need to make a 900 mile drive through the desert of Utah or eastern Colorado and Kansas and see if you can stay at the limit. The limit needs to be 90 out there.

I will conceed that. But for my purposes 65-70 is good enough.

Morning all.

Dang, Saturday is gonna be a busy day.

The El Camino club has breakfast, rush home for the kickoff of the OU-TX game. We have a couple coming over to watch it with us. As soon as I can sneak out try to find the Dutch invasion. They are coming through on R-66. They will spend the night in OKC and I may try to eat dinner with them.

How come everything happens all at once?

Morning Glen.
Yeah we have C&C sat morning then Beth wants to go to a turkey shoot at noon. Something about my wife, a shotgun, and high noon, makes me a little nervous.
