Whoooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooo
Rickie scores again. In an attempt to enhance the curb appeal of the house my little corner of an bedroom upstairs that has been my "studio" has been relegated to Beth's sewing area and I got an entire room for ME!!!!! This was where we stored all the grand kids toys and such, yeah those are gone. Now I just need one more stand so I can have the Strat out too.

Bleh! Weekends are not long enough

Lu and I (and the attack schnauzer) went hiking in the Shenandoah Mountains today. Specifically, we went up to the summit of Pass Mountain. Nice fall colors, nice hike. Too bad the weekend is so short.

Thanks D. They need to be redone. My den is oak, the first floor is walnut and the upstairs is "wide pine"

We took the dogs to the local park for a walk. Reuben the does not like a leash or to go for a walk with a collar on. He did enjoy the 1.5 mile walk we did. We enjoyed it as well.

Those 600 hp setups are only about $35,000 and typically take a year for the guy to build them up. It's pretty amazing they can get 600 hp with normal aspiration. A lot of work on the heads, cams, exhaust, and intake. The guy that does it was recommending I put $11,000 in hydraulic lifters instead of stock when I rebuilt my motor just because I put in a different cam. I didn't think it needed anything except the cam. The cams I put in were from the 5 liter 928 GT. The GT cams have more lift and duration that the 5.4 liter 928 GTS cams, but both have the same heads, valves, springs, and lifters.

I call him Kitty Cat. Not that he comes when called anyway.

He only comes running if you open the fridge (gets a treat from the aerosol whipped cream) or if you turn on a faucet in the bathroom (likes to play in the water).

Oh, the other night he succeeded in uprooting ALL of the house plants.
