I believe this mod is called boatailing the main webs. Probably see some talk about gains from boatailing on the engine rebuilding forum.

Cory is a good place to go for that except he flat will NOT return a phone call or email. Calling someone 10 or 12 times before I can talk to them is just not a good way to run a business. Whatever he does will be done at the last possible minute or late.

He will talk to you if you are on the "list" or so I've heard... Have Louis call for you!

Sadly that's pretty common with mechanics, hard to get help so they screen calls and take the work from regular customers, if they are busy they don't answer the phone!

I have had him do work in the past.

I let them replace the fuel pump on the 911. Without a lift that is a nasty job and you get a bath in gas if you are not real fast. I also "let" him repack my CV joints. That is a messy job especially if you don't have a big parts washer. We get along fine, but he can still be hard to get hold of.

Dave, are you guys running really late or real early? It looks like the sun is close to the horizon. We have had a few all day autocrosses. One time we were picking up the cones after sunset and it was settig real dark real fast. It looks like a fun course.
Last timed run group of the day. There's around 100 entrants, so it goes all day.

Wow.
We had our autocross on Sunday. 8 Porsches and 4 other cars. I missed it since the El Camino is not exactly great on corners. Get there at 10:00 start running at 11:00 go home by 1:00. 8 runs each and some fun runs after.

We usually get 8 practice runs and 4 timed. Summer months can see around 120.

Tech inspection is from 7am -7:30. 7:30 to 9 is unpack, get car ready, track walk, drivers meeting... Start running at 9 and finish when we're finished and everything is cleaned up - around 4:30.

I just wondered.

I think getting Cory's attention has more to do with perceived $$$$ you are going to spend with him than anything else.

Right after I got the GTS he would answer my calls. Right up until he figured out it didn't need any work done. Did get my wheels from him.

Azzy you may be in suthern' merrilyn' but you are still north of tha Mason-Dixon line and therefore live in the land of the yankee. This stems from the war of northern aggression

See that is why I do it wrong. I usually give them the "fix it yourself" look
