Happy Black Friday folks. If I can't be home for this day, I'd rather be in the office where I'm safe from crazy shoppers. Be careful out there!

Today is my annual day after thanksgiving mow the yard event. More than the grass getting mowed it is the leaves getting picked up. It looks like all the trees in the neighborhood dumped the leaves in my yard. It is going to be 55 degrees and sunny today.

I'm at the office. It's quiet here. A complete ghost town. I'm just working on a report, listening to jazz, & sipping coffee. Not bad at all.

Your day sounds like mine... After the boys get picked up by their dad. I have them for thanksgiving because he just watches football all day. All my nieces and nephew come to my house and they have a ball!

I need to run today too. Like two marathons distance after all the stuff I have eaten this past week. And I am going to tea with my college roommate on Sunday. Ugggggg! More yummy food. Good thing this is running season.

Didn't shop at all. I have never done the Black Friday thing. I think I stopped off once after my night shift was over when I worked at the hospitals. Bought a crockpot. Wasn't that enthralled with getting a deal so never did it again. I bought some clothes for the boys online because they were on sale. Those people are nuts. I know some stay at home moms who plan their whole strategy out. Which store, which products, what time... It's exhausting even before they get out the door!

Anyone know anyone else who's in need of a 2005 Acura TL? Mrs. Noah is selling hers, as we had to get a minivan for our growing family.

Hmm. Maybe not the best day to sell a car, as it's raining. Could be worse, I suppose. Could be snowing.

You laugh... But I almost bought one of those after I sold my Corrado...

But then dad slapped me with reality and reminded me of all the hell we'd had with special parts on the VW and that subaru is even rarer... Cool car though!

corrado.... egads! cool car. stupidly expensive.

i like the SVX. i've read quite a few reviews and about the only complaint they can come up with is the window design.... but, then, they have to admit that wind noise is almost zero with the window down. pretty good power, 220HP, IIRC, good handling and all wheel drive. how rare are they? less than 25K were sold. i think that is about how many 944 turbos were sold, but i digress.

I loved my Corrado... But for example the correct factory spark plugs were $16/each on pelican. The blower cost >$1k to be rebuilt, and there are only two guys in NA that will touch it, and mine still pushed oil into the intake after the rebuild. There is no good way to remove the VW AKTIV sound system, and the wiring in the dash of mine had been hacked up badly, something was shorted and turning on the rear defrost would kill the cruise...

Occasionally I'll stumble across one for sale and start having unpure thoughts... But... Thats the only car I've lost money on and been happy to see it go! I might try a VR6.. If I ever hit the powerball...
