Old school nissan 240 the rwd version is a good doner part as well. I am sure I could get a Dana 44 cut to size and they are cheap

I am setting up a gmail to use for my house. I lost all of my house stuff, including links to places in Az.
Nothing earth shattering but it pisses me off just the same

Rick, You need an @zipbang.com email account. It supports syncing to smart phones, has web mail, and supports exchange email clients like Outlook. It shares your appointments, and contacts between all your email clients like phone and desktop and web mail. Accounts are backed up nightly. I provide accounts for my friends for the cost of software license per user, it's $6.00 per month preferred payment is $72 per year. There are no ads in the webmail and I have an ftp server you can upload large files and it sends a link to download the file to your recipient. Your address will be @zipbang.com or we can find you a domain for another $12 per year. More info at www.zipbang.com

I like to think it is better than the free yahoo or gmail accounts which I have both of.

Oh yeah, rick@zipbang.com is available.

Is is a cool email service. I love having my computer, phone and iPad all synced up for email. The contact list and all appointments are synced. I even set my MIL up that way.

I've used gmail for 6years now without an issue. Love it. Syncs with my phones contacts, calendars, and notes as well as email. Same on my iPad and Macbook.

Awesome spam filter too for free.

I have to just keep telling myself, hey it's an $800 truck, so what's a little water now and then.
i am pretty stoked that it worked. i figure that if it kills the engine, the repair is nearly as expensive as getting a good core. so screw it. and it does seem to be working.

my disco has had the usual issues for an 18 year old truck that has been abused off road and such. the big repairs were new head gaskets at 120K, new suspension all around (did i mention that i abuse this thing off road), a power steering pump that grenaded, a water pump (which was a piece of cake), and a power steering box (probably from abusing the truck off road). and it drives really nice.

yes, i get that. i was totally reluctant to put this into anything, but see the above. AND subaru was warrantying their engines for an extra 100k miles, as long as they put this stuff in, before or after a failure was detected....

i am not arguing with you at all. i would NEVER put this kind of product in the 951. but the subaru i really don't care about. i just need it to run for another year.

I am not synced with my MIL but I could be if I wanted to be.

I do synchronize my wife's calendar with mine. Again I could sync our email and contacts but I don't see the need.

As for British vehicles......
The Jag can be a nightmare and it sucks to have to take it to the dealership for diagnosis, but that's to be expected when you jam that much electricals in a car....even the modern MBs and BMWs have those issues.....mechanically, it's incredibly robust
Both Rovers have been beasts.....basic maintenance is really all that's needed and even more than basic stuff is usually quite easy.....

Nothing on any of the British vehicles sucks as bad as doing valves on the Duc....I usually just take the heads off to do it....easier than trying to weasel through the crevices.....still have to yank the rear shock, gas tank and air filter/control module tray...

Been doing Subie online testing off and all during the day and I can not for the life of me figure out why they are trying to complicate a simple concept like electrical diagnosis. I should be exempt from these things

Replaced the front brakes on the DD Civic, and changed out the oil on the 911 today. Fixed a sticking trunk release on Mrs. Noah's Acura and her Bluetooth connection yesterday. Sometimes it's nice to do straightforward maintenance & repairs.
